Like everyone is saying, done right there is no downside.
If it seems like you're having EQ issues, it's either due to overtraining .. doing PE too often (just back off a little bit until EQ returns) .. or else it's accumulation of environmental toxins. Try two or three tablespoons of Sunflower Lecithin per day to detox that out of your body and your EQ will rage like a teenager again.
"Some sensitivity might be lost."
This might be true, but I find there is another factor at work in the opposite direction .. if you've heard the phrase "like throwing a hotdog down a hallway", (not a lot of contact friction going on there) .. but with enough PE it's like you're 'throwing a pickup truck down a hallway', (it doesn't fit casually, and there's contact friction like Crazy.)
If I've ever lost any sensitivity, I can't -tell- .. because of the higher contact friction from being bigger makes the net-effect seem like more sensitivity.
