Hi all - Great forum,

I just received my [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Bathmate[/words] [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]X30[/words] with the hand ball pump but it include no detailed instructions - help please.
I use it in the shower, not the bath and no matter what I do, I get air pockets. Can it not be used in the shower?

A few details I need to know:
How do I set the switch at the end of the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]bathmate[/words] before I attach the pump attachment.
What is the tab/switch at the end of the hand pump used for?
How do I keep air out of the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]bathmate[/words] tube?

A set of detailed instructions from the start would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello sir!

Craig here from [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Bathmate[/words]. For this very question we have created multiple video guides to help you out. You can use your [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]bathmate[/words] in the shower or the bath.

Here is the link to those videos: Hydromax – DXPSupport

The tab at the end we call a "black pip", that is what it is titled in the videos. In the center position it allows water to be pumped out, and at either side locks the pump in position.
As for the air pockets, that can happen, but you want to gradually get pressure and not 100% pressure straight away and this should help.

Thanks for the reply but none of the videos address the use of the optional hand pump (the one with the hose).

I keep the black pip in the center position. I also pre fill the hand pump with water by pumping water through it before I insert my penis into the pump

I do the same as above, also in the instruction booklet it says that the top piece that rotates should be turned to the left when attaching the hose to the pump. Twist to the left = closed, twist to the right = open.

So here's what i do, black pip is in the centre position, the clear twist part is all the way twisted to the left and hose is attached. Fill to halfway with water, start pumping the handball to expel air out of hose and fill handball, fill water to about three quarters up the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]comfort pad[/words], tilt the whole pump at about a 45 degree angle and you will notice air bubbles escaping that are trapped between the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]comfort pad[/words] and the gaitor, then continue to fill to the top and you're ready to go!! Just remember though that when you are ready to take it off to twist the clear part to the right so you can depress it and release the pressure.

Edit: the pip on the end of the handball doesn't change/do anything other than allow water to be expelled from the handball.

Thanks to all that replied. I did all that was suggested but still got air an pocket in the upper portion.
The problem was air trapped between the outer sleeve of the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Bathmate[/words] and the long comfort sleeve.

So I did a small modification that fixed it.

I took out the comfort sleeve and drilled a 1/16" hole in the white plastic sleeve near the very top.
So while filling with water the air can escape - no more air pockets at all.
Just thought you all should know.

Thanks again...

This sounds very interesting, can you snap a picture so I can see exactly where you are drilling so I don't mess up my pump?

That's a good idea! You can also fill the whole thing up to the top of the gaitor (outside sleeve) and then Insert the comfort sleeve, it will displace a tiny bit of water, but if you go slowly it's all good 👍
