I can't even fathom 8" of girth...that's just insane. Again, if he's truly formulating his own product, he might be able to get a patent on it, though I imagine that credentials are reviewed at that time. But he won't be able to patent a mixture of other drugs. Even if he gets a patent, someone likely only needs to take out a few milligrams of this or that, add something else, and voila! I have a doctor friend that makes a couple nutritional supplements he formulated. He says he trademarked his brand, but didn't even bother with a patent due to the expense and the ease of competition getting around it.
