are these sort of devices worth the money or manual hand jelqing is the way to go?
anyone here had any experience with these sort of stuff? how do they compare?

Nothing beats the hands with jelqing. The JelqDevice is basically a canning tool and can be purchased at Walmart for about $5 if you want to try but I think you will be disappointed with the expansion.

Okay 100$ saved! I really feel great with Jelqing with my hands particularly when I push my penis downwards in almost full erection and jelq slowly while concentrating on forcing the blood inside the penis..
while I'm less erect and the penis is going upwards I feel like there is too much skin involved...
