I have actually discussed similiar guidelines as well. There's not a big problem here but it can get out of hand when people post using "internet ebonics". We have people here that english may not be their first language so they may not understand the intent or context of certain slang or shortcuts. Everyone makes speliing errors from time to time--I may be worse than most. The point is that to a certain extent the poster need to show courtesy to the others here by making his post as clear and understandable as possible.

As much as I appreciate well written posts I understand the multilingual crowd that is the internet. Fvck thunders anyway since I cant even get membership, as per their daily cut off. Of course I cant consider that valid since I only tried on two separate days.

More related to the topic; you can find add-ons to forum building sites, or web-browsers, that correct spelling or grammar fairly regularly now. Banning people for such offenses seems pointless to me. Either way though, aint my site aint my business. I just appreciate learning new ways to tug on my dick and make it longer regardless of the language that it's expressed in.

Wow, I'm quite drunk at the moment and, for some reason, this post is extraordinarily funny to me. Keep up the good work, 10inchadvantage.
 
It's funny to me that they're so strict about the "grammar" over there, because from what I've read, most guys stil use piss-poor grammar, they just ban the more egregious internet slang and free-form typing. I don't have any problem with that; in fact it's kind of nice, keeps the serious morons away from the board (see GRANDADY and others), but they're really only enforcing a basic formality of typing (easier spelling, punctuation). As with most other internet boards, about half the posters there are borderline illiterate and hardly make sense when they post, but that's just the nature of the internet. As SWM pointed out, even dear old Thunder doesn't have a full command of formal grammar.

What I don't like about that board is the ideological supremacy and conformity. From what I've read, it also seems to be a really clique-ish and insular little group. They boast of some sort of high-minded standard regarding conduct, yet they gossip and bitch like a bunch of school girls when the right topic comes up (see: DLD). As a group, they genuinely enjoy endlessly bickering and harping over their own organizational rules, particularly savoring the pedantic tone that they get to employ when lecturing any offending posters. I'm guessing the guys that really love bring it down on that site don't get to swing a very big stick in real life, hence the heavy-handed authority over there.

Basically, it's a bunch of grown men (well, at least partially - let's face it, many posters on these boards are teenagers) that treat internet posting about tugging and squeezing your dick as if it were an exercise in high discourse. Every once in a while there is some new information or an interesting new nugget on the major Penis Enlargement boards - virtually everything else is just bullshitting, newbies getting a feel for Penis Enlargement, questions that could easily be answered by two minutes of research, and experienced Penis Enlargementers debating over different topics. Thunder's is no different, but some of them - and please note that I say some, not all - just affect a much more self-important attitude about things.

And that Thunder guy is making money from the site. No question about that.

It does seem he wants to be special and we are sure helping him with threads like this. Let him limit his board. We will be the ones who benefit in the long run. I think, if we should take anything from thunders it should be that a) Arguing is annoying and helps no one. b) We should take the time to help out our fellow members, no matter what. c) We should try to make [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MoS[/words] more organized and user friendly.

I think the e-book thing is a good idea. If we don't try to sell it and give proper citations that should be okay right? We could have one for each topic of Penis Enlargement stickied in its appropriate forum section. By making it in e-book (ie pfd) for members could download it and wouldn't have to be online to read it, it could be easily printed, put on iPod etc.

I think this is what DLD was trying to do with the articles section. Organization is the only thing Thundersplace has on us and it would make everything a lot easier for everyone.
