god dammit. it's like im losing fat everywhere EXCEPT there.

i hope one day someone will invent an exercise that targets the fat pad. there must be a way. it's the new american dream.

lol

There's no such thing as spot reduction... exercizing one area of the body will do little to lose fat in that area. Lipo is the only real spot reducer. Totally sucks...

yea im a skinny guy , and when dld called me fat i really didn't understand
what he was talking back - i mean shit i have no gut to speak of

but after visiting with dld , thats when i realized i have a massive fat pad
i would love to lose it BUT HOW? i think alpha blade has exersises on the fat pad

maybe by 2030 dld will gather enuff money and launch this new site of his:s

The FAT PAD, notorious, frustrating and above all, it hides inches of dick. This was my biggest problem for 4 years of Penis Enlargement, I was gaining unreal size but much of it was covered by my fat pad.

Getting rid of the fat pad took allot more than just a few exercise trying to target the area. This is very hard to do as fat does not respond to muscle work, the only way to drop fat is by moving and eating right. It took me deciding to change my entire life-style...Penis EnlargementRIOD. I had to change when I got up, what I ate, when I ate, how much I exercised for fat loss, how much I trained for muscle growth, where I went, what I did, it was a COMPLETE change. This entire journey took up 13 pages of the ALPHA+BLADE site and I could write 100's more on how vital a life change was to weight loss and muscle growth. Most men refuse to make these changes and opt for a quick fix, a simple exercise, or maybe a slight change in diet but this is not enough.

When I started my weight loss I was, at my heaviest, 260 lbs at 5' 9"...I looked like SHIT, I felt as good. I woke one day and decided enough is enough and I went into DLD mode on weight loss. I changed everything and most of you know the rest but for those who don't, I was able to shed 130lbs. in 4 short months. Today I have gained a little back and I am happy at 150lbs.

For those who want to do the same I suggest you plan on changing your whole life.

DLD, I'm in the same boat that you were. I'm 5'7" and 250 lbs. I HATE the way I look. I can't get any ladies, but I wouldn't even have sex with me so I don't blame them. I don't even eat very much as I have colitis and most of the time my stomach is too irritated to even eat. Most of the time I eat around 2000 calories a day but can't lose a thing. The only thing that's worked recently is a liquid protein diet (sort of like slimfast), but it gets old fast cause you never actually chew anything.
Anyway, still waiting for Alpha Blade to help us out of our "fat pads". Unfortunately mines about 80 lbs worth.

Hey man don't worry about it too much. It comes off fast when you lose the weight. I dropped from 12% bf down to 8% or so and my non pressed length increased nearly 1/4".

What does your exercise routine look like? Are you treating your colitis with medication or alternative therapy?

The most important issue with weight loss is the changes you need to make in your life. First, our view of food contains so many mixed up views on the reasons we take in food. For me it was comfort I was looking for. I used food as a drug in a sense. The first thing I need to do is change my perspectives on food. This needed to be addressed in a radical way as I have always had views on food that were not about nutrition but about pleasure. The brain, in order to make a cognitive change, needs perspective and time. 28 days is how long a rational self analysis takes to make a mental change. So 28 days became my fasting period. During this fasting I allowed myself to eat very small meals that were geared towards nutrition but only the amount of nutrition I needed to make a complete cognitive change on food. During this time I forced myself to be active. Taking walks, jogging, weight training, etc. kept my body from shut down and boosted my energy for this month long project. Although this was difficult I knew that in the end it would not only jump start my body to lose weight but it also allowed me to see food with a new perspective. During this time I wrote down my cravings, I searched for alternatives, I created diets, exercise and everything else that would prepare me for normal eating habits when I returned. Over the 28 days I lost allot of weight but when I started eating full meals after the 28 days the weight continued to come off because I had a more scientific view of food and how my body reacts to these issues. Within 4 short months I had reached a weight that was identical to my weight at 18! I looked and felt better than ever.

It is all about self control and getting to know your body and mind and making wise decisions that will bring your goals and change your life.

Yeah, me too. I've read a lot about this subject and basically hear "the food is always there for you..." Many of us reach for food for comfort either when there's no one else, or even for reward. At minimum, many of us eat out of boredom or habit. One of my habits is eating cereal while reading the morning paper. I understand that its the habits that need to be broken. I also feel that our bodies can get in the habit of maintaining its weight. Even though my food intake is not excessive most of the time, because of my lack of an exercise program and clock-like eating habits, my body maintains this size.

Thanks for the feedback DLD!

Well, don't forget that you can improve your eating habbits, but without movement, it won't change a damn thing.

Yes I realize that; they go hand in hand. I had a personal trainer for a while a couple of years ago, but my weight stayed the same due to never making changes to my diet.

Also, in response to your other question, I am trying to take care of my colitis now with alternative therapy. Since I was diagnosed in '91, I have been thru the prednesone, asocol, sulfasalizine, cortizone enemas etc. Now Im taking slippery elm, botswellia, echinasia (sp?) & some other colon care herbs. I'm tired of treating the symtoms; I want to find a natural way to deal with this.
