Can someone give the theory on discoloration? Is it bruising? If so why doesn't it go away? I have read other threads about this and it seems permanent I just don't know why. I don't like it as it is very obvious something is going on.

From my experience, it is a part of clamping that is pretty much unavoidable. My penis is tanned. Doesn't bug me. Apparently, it is NOT bruising, more so trapped ''iron'' (from the blood) as it's been described under the skin.

SWM, not sure how current your pics and vids are that you have posted, but your discoloration is nothing compared to mine. Sure looks like bruising, although maybe it is at first because a day later the color is different than after a set. Is that possible? So maybe a magnet will get the iron out. Ok, probably not, has there been anything proven to at least help? Also the skin is real tender to touch during a set to the point it almost hurts to do horse squeezes. Is that normal as well?

Since I'm not able to be right there to evaluate what's going on with your body, I can only guess based on what's going on with my own penis. After I clamp, I get very dark all over and spotty. It starts to diminish some after several hours. I have not seen anything that has been 'theorized' to help (massaging, jelqs, 'rolls', ointments, creams, lotions) actually work. There's been talks on Th*nd3rs Pl@ce about 'chemical peels', but I'm not concerned enough about the situation to paint my penis with salicylic acid to attempt to lighten it. My penis also gets 'tender' when I clamp. For me it comes from skin stretch which is alleviated for the most part by using a good moisturizing lotion while clamping. I also get a little fluid build up which can cause a slight discomfort. Clamping also requires a guy (from my experience) to break past some mental barriers and learn what ''pain'' versus just some discomfort may be, and how to embrace the discomfort.

Of course, you don't want to hurt yourself either. There's a fine line per se between discomfort and pain, but it's a lot wider of a line than most men seem to realize.

SWM, is there a way to get the stripe closer to the base or disappear? That is all I care about. It can be dark but the white stripe has to go. I tried pulling the skin forward but hasn't helped.

I also have discoloration towards the end of my cock - this has really been brought on by clamping and wearing a cock ring for most of the day - but when compared to now having a girth around 6.25 inches, and the improvement in sex for my wife, I think its a very small price to pay - plus I like it!

About the only thing I've seen that works is to tan.

Here's a question: How do you get MORE clamp tan on your penis?

I like my new darker color but it only goes half way down my penis giving the two tone effect that is the center of so much discussion.
Instead of fighting it, I just want to even it out.

Has anyone had any experience with pushing the darkening farther down their shaft?
I'm wondering if clamping on the tan line might work... or maybe a cock ring... or maybe both?

You can pull skin more forward before you start to clamp.
