For the crafty guys out there here are the demensions of the unit. I need B1 to help a bit with the instructions but I hope this helps. Anyone making one please contribute your stretching ideas so I can add them to the site.

B1, What is the thickness of the board? 3/4 or thicker? ASh is a closed grain wood, oak is strong but you surely might get splinters...whew....GS

This shouldn't be too hard to make if you've got the right tools.

Luckily my uncle is a handy man and has all sorts of power tools maybe I'll borrow some of his to make one.

It should be 3/4". If you look at the circle in the middle, it is 3" dia hole with the outer dia of 4 1/2". So the remaining material on each side is 3/4". The overall thickness wouldn't need to be anymore.

Ash, the wood we use, is hard to get a hold of (a big reason for some of the delays in production) but oak is a worthy substitute.
