After looking through a lot of discoloration threads and pictures, I still can't seem to find anything similar.

I have an area of concentrated discoloration. It is dark, and appears from some angles to even be sunken in a little bit. I'm not sure if this is bruising or some kind of infection, but it's unlike anything I can find on the internet and I'm wondering if any of you have discoloration like this (pics below). I recently decided to stop masturbating as it appeared to be spreading a tiny bit when I did (although I may just be imagining this).

I went to the doctor and he said it was nothing to worry about, but I don't think he really got a good look at it. I can't get into the dermatologist until December, so I'm wondering if I should be worried about it until then. As you can see, it appears to be "taking out" some of the band above, and I'm afraid that if it spreads I may suffer some permanent loss of tissue.

Prior to the arrival of this, I had been doing a couple weeks of really slow, firm masturbation with my thumb's emphasis on this area of the penis (almost like jelqing). It seems that this might be connected, but I'm not completely sure.

You can also see three lines below it which appear to be stretch marks of some sort.

are you talking about that kind of little dark spot in the center? dude, strangely I not only know what it is, I have the exact same mark in the exact same part of the penis. I shit you not.

basically it's a lesion you got some how and it discolored your skin. you know how when you get a blister on your lip? you basically got something similar on your cock. it could have been from a number of things. a pimple, a lesion from masturbating, skin lesion, etc.,and yes you are right, if you would have kept touching it and masturbating you likely would have spread it bigger.

it looks to be gone now, but now you are left with that mark just like me. the good news is because it's topical and recent I think it's likely that we can get rid of it with the proper lotion or at least most of it. I haven't bought any yet but have been reading the threads here deciding which would be the best to try. make sure you double check with a doctor though, maybe other things leave marks like that as well.

what a coincidence though. really this is not the reason I came to the forum , it's other discoloration I was here to check out. but anyway, happy to know a little bit about this and hopefully help you out.
 
Discoloration will be a thing of the past in a few weeks:)

Can't tell yet as I am the only one who has used this method, the 3 guys who are using the device are reporting excellent progress in lightening and absolutely no new discoloration.

The only concern I have is that this was never an open sore. It just appeared one day, as is. So nothing else was there before, just this mark (which has grown a tiny bit). My main question is whether this discoloration resembles other people's discoloration, or if it's of a different appearance than the other kind of discoloration experienced here. It's comforting to know that you said you have similar discoloration.

That is great teasing news..looking forward to hear their feedback and what this actually turns out to be.Knowing some of the other things tried I can't even guess what it is..ok is it a bug zapper? :)

For those interested or for those with similar problem to me, I asked this question to a dermatologist online and he responded with the following:

"Doesn't look worrying. It is probably just lichenification (thickening and darkening) of skin because of friction. It is just a protective mechanism the body has. Once the friction stops it can take a few months for the skin to normalise. Just use simple vaseline on the area 3-4 times a day and that will help it settle."

I already typed this out but in short, as I am not going to type it again tonight. The Darkening is not an external issue, it is an internal issue. It is closer to Cyanosis than Lichenification.

yea it doesn't have to be an open sore. we get discolorations and skin lesions popup on our bodies all the time. you just noticed it this time because it was on your cock.
hey the vasaline's a good tip though, I may try that out.

LOL...you are right about that!

I am very curious about this tho cause I have tried a few things and they don't work.
The darkening skin stops me from using my [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words].
 
Unfortunately I have not seen any results from the vasoline yet. In fact I think it has spread a little bit, taking out a tad bit of my foreskin band :(. I'm afraid that is permanent. I'm meeting with a dermatologist this month, hoping I can get some advice there.

Also, it looks like my original photos were deleted. I will try to get some more up for people who come across this thread in the future.

Yep it was, I has been using it for the last few weeks now and I can see some of the discoloration has been faded away!!! :)

I have seen discoloration issues resolve with my treatment with pure lemon juice. I have massaged lemon juice all over my unit every night for the past three weeks. All of my discoloration issues have cleared, and so has a small light freckle I once had it has disappeared.

I can say pure lemon juice has worked for me.
