This isn't a adult entertainment or gay site - it's more of a clinical look at REAL pictures of REAL penises on REAL people. No fishbowl lens perspective or doctoring or carefully composed pictures which hide the size of the body relative to the penis (thus making him appear larger - hellooooo close-ups! I see some of you guys using that trick all the time here. ;) ) - just shots of penises. It really puts things into perspective. :cool:
 
Says the average length is 5.07" which after to speaking to many females I know, it seems to be more true than the 6" mark that everyone says.
 
I dunno - most staffed surveys (as opposed to self measure) put it closely around the 5.5 mark. This guy tries to take into account the fact that most "average" and small guys will run a mile from having someone measure their tackle, so when looking at averages you tend to get an average of those guys who aren't shy, which in general tend to be bigger. Also small guys don't put it about as much, so women don't tend to encounter them in the one night stand situation as often, not to mention that women aren't the best at guestimating size, and guys aren't always as honest as they should be.

A long time ago I was with a friends ex, my friend always maintained he has a large member - and having seen him in the lockeroom, I'd agree (I guess 6+ inches flacid), so when I was with his ex, I wasn't too shocked to here her tell me that he was big and about 8.5inches, but my jaw dropped when she said that I was far bigger and put me at about the 9.5 mark, in reality I'm nowhere near (at about 7nbp), and when I tried to correct her - she wasn't having any of it, so off went to get a ruler and prove my point (which written on here looks a bit wierd, but we were joking around at the time so it was all a bit of fun). She was still convinced I was bigger than him, but I just put it to confusion and forgot about it. Years later my friend starts an amateur adult entertainment site, and appears on there, it turns out his 6+inches flacid turns into about 5.5 erect (ie it doesn't grow in length just points upwards), he must have lied to her - and she didn't know any better. So I quickly learn't that a) girls don't know shit about size or measuring, b) flacid length really doesn't having any bearing on erect length. c) Guys lie - the strange thing is my friend really does think he's big cos of his flacid length (infact he's even said I looked small compared to his "big gun" - I guess he thinks my flaccid 4" equates to erect 4" - I just smiled and said "probably" ;-)...
 
I've seen that site before. Some of the pictures don't seem to tally up with the listed measurements though. i.e. A guy listed as having a 6.5 inch erection looks closer to 4" etc.

To some degree, it's in the eyes of the beholder. One's perception of "reality" is all one has. Kind of scary when you think about it.

Keep that grip on reality, men!! Or should I say on your penis??

No, man... thats' the thing. If you take the penis in relation to the owner's body, it can either look bigger or smaller. Some guy on that site was 5'10" but a bit overweight at 185, and his penis only looked about 5 inches. It was over 6 in reality. Think about it. That is also why Ramon from Bangbros looks so damn big, like he's 10-11 inches - he's as thin as a rail (esp. his thighs which directly affect penis size perception). My guess is that he's about 8 or so.
 
I used to think that a thick dick made your penis look smaller. But now I'm convinced that added girth increases the visual impact in a positive way. And of course the ladies are not complaining!!! And a long thick dick on a skinny body surely increases the visual impact, especially with skinny thighs. I agree with you in this respect.

And these big dicks in the hands of these petite female adult entertainment stars surely creates a visual bonanza.
 
I've been on a real kick of late it would seem around here---putting down the falsehood of some of these stupendous sizes as depicted on the net....the fakeness and all the gimmicks used which we guys innocently fall for. We can't seem to help it...how gullible we are to readily believe such images. In the long-run though, it's not all that healthy for us to become so obsessed. And, I can (and I do) speak from experience. I think I'm now reaching a point (at least sometimes :s ) when these big sizes I've gawked over for so long are now looking quite silly, even laughable. I genuinely believe the "magic" of these purported dimensions is beginning to wear off. --And, maybe that's good. I can hope so. I'm thinking: "I'm just as big as some of these dudes! Even BIGGER!" And----THEY'RE boasting?

The erectionphotos website has been around for awhile and it's noteworthy there hasn't been too much updating over there for a couple of years (?) now, I believe. But the photos are more representative of reality and fairly well described to boot (Granted though, as some have said, I sometimes have to question what is said to be 7" on that site when it appears instead, to more like 5". Truly body proportion does play into one's perception of size. (And, THAT'S a big part of the equation when judging "size".)

I LOVED the comments from jonesy1123...a perfect accounting of the misconception about size. Heck. misconceptions from BOTH genders in fact. rofl Thanks for sharing!

This site has been posted before.
 
I have checked it out, and it was good for my self esteem. It puts things in perspective showing that most of us are at the very least average... and that while there is no reason to not keep trying to improve ourselves...we should at least chill out a bit and enjoy what we were born with in the meantime.
 
I concur that this site is a good dose of reality. With all the adult entertainment and false sizes on the internet we are often in fairyland instead of in physical reality. The site helped me to see what NORMAL penises are like.
