cable clamp alternatives (uk)

hey guys, just wanted to know if a velcro strap would be a good substitue for a cable clamp as i don't seem to be able to find any locally in uk. Perhaps Redzulu2003 might know as he's from uk. I've tried b&q wickes and homebase and nothing! Tried halfords and they've got velcro strips available..... Basically i'd like to use it for "Shane Diesel & Shorty mac width secret exposed" clamping with tiles. I was going to use the velcro for my shaft and then i was going to use brown tape with the tiles to just to experiment with it and see how i get on before ordering clamps from the states.

Give it a try and it may work great. I am sure Redzulu will see this thread and give you a good answer.
 
Hose clamps work well from other users feedback on them but use wrapping underneath. Also shoe lace tied in a loop or slip knot works a treat. Again wrapping is likely but not a must. If you really want a cable clamp then best bet is order online http://www.cableclamp.com/store.html buy a pack with either just medium sized or a mixture. These NEVER go to waste like stillwantmore claims, but can be used for many things like cables. Also the sea clamps differ from cable clamps in that the sea clamp is a stronger tooth (grip to the clamp) and used underwater for cables so it is stronger contrary again to what stillwantmore has said elsewhere who hasn't used both cable and sea clamps.

They are the same thing but the sea clamps are stronger in the grip then the cable clamp so a big difference and again making assumptions from just seeing two items that look the same. I have broken 3 cable clamps over the years with wearing it around my penis and the expansion snapped it but sea clamps NEVER an issue because they grip and GRIP HARD. Hence why they are so suitable to clamp off strong fishing cables, they wont snap.

Where can we get sea clamps?
 
I'm 12.5cm EG at the base, I got a medium sea clamp. When it's on the smallest thing it's just tight enough for me, so I'm getting a small. Just posting because I wasn't sure what size to get so it might help some people
 
hi guys

question for red... will the medium size sea clamp be ok for me for 5 inch girth?

i bought some cheap shit clamps of ebay and they kept popping off!!! and saw you recommend the sea clamp so going for that!!!

They are cheap enough to pick up a few just in case they break or you misplace. Always best to be prepared.
 
Medium size in Sea or Cable clamps is good, other manufacturers may vary in size. If anyone is below 3 inches in girth then the small clamp would suffice and over 8.5 inches in girth then your stepping into the large clamp which should hold it going into somewhere like 12-14 inches girth and then its the giant clamp :) All humor aside the MEDIUM is the size for all really.
