As Worlds Collide: Fatigue vs. Intensity Increase

Intensity Theory:
This theory suggests elongating the penis is about keeping it in it's most stretched position, and beyond, for as long as you can. The longer the stretch the more the tissue will elongate and deform as long as the intensity steadily increases. So the longer and more intense the stretch the better the gain.

VS

Fatigue Theory:
The theory here is fatiguing the penis by using max intensity or weight in opening sets/exercise and as the penis becomes fatigued, reduce the weight or intensity and start successive set until you reach complete fatigue. This suggests that tissue deformation (gains) happen with less intensity or weight as time/sets/exercise progresses.

The two theories obviously collide and even contradict each other but men swear by gains on both sides of the fence. What is the deal? I would love everyone's view on this. Discuss:)

Side Note:
Some may ask about JAI or PLYMETRIC stretches being short reps/max intensity but the function of these stretches is more a shock to the ligaments for future gains and this is why they were not included in this debate.
 
Well its late here lol so I will be quick and short and comeback to this tommorow perhaps.
I think its a mainly a mixture of genes, health and psychological thinking that makes the methods work in whomever uses them.
Some may have the genes that enable them to gain better from intense session while others the reverse.
Good health will be essential, if one has some disease for example like diabetes than the circulation might not be what it should and the penis not like one method over the other...circulation disorders, cell disorders, blood disorders, blood pressure, stress etc ect could favour one method over the other because its favours it better than the latter because of whatever porblem the user has.
A good thinking is always wanted, with some thoughts being sent into the unconscious mind about such and such athing, these could include methods like these.
Reading what works best for joe bloggs and that sticks in the mind, and it might effect the mind in doing other methods.
Thats not all, but other mental aspects play a role.
I think the mainone is GENES.

Nice thread DLD. I too have wondered about these opposing theories. I pretty much am trying to get a big cock by hanging 5 days per week. Only once (I believe) since I started in mid-June have I had to reduce the weight during a hanging session. And in reality I think I dropped the weight because my skin was chaffing, which means the hanger or the wrap needed to be adjusted.

But my intensity seems to be the major factor in progress. As we speak, I'm on my second set w/20lbs and I just don't feel the need to decrease the weight.

So I'm gonna say that you just can't go wrong w/great intensity but maybe after I've been doing this for 3 months straight my ligs will disagree and be screaming for me to lower the weights...hope so because those things are like steel.
