All of us measuring wrong?

Well, on a documentary, two days ago. It was from UK.
Well there they discussed penis lengths, partners, feelings and such.

When they filmed a doctor...

First he said that an average penis is 13.2 cm long and 11.9 cm in circumstance. Which seemed like usual.

Then he said that there are alot of different ways how to measure a penis, but they are not correct.

To measure your penis length do this:

1. Lay down on your back.
2. Do not get erect.
3. Now depending on if your glans are moisty or dry, take a piece of paper and use it as grip on the glans.
4. Stretch your penis straight up(not to much, just till it tugs back), with a little angle against your legs.(Just a couple of degrees).
5. Take the ruler, and push it into the pubic bone.(The ruler should be linear to your penis.)
6. Look on the numbers. And your done.

It seemed pretty nice to me, more exact measurement.

What do you guys think of that?

Sounds like a different way to measure FSBP. I wonder if that would make it give a higher or a lower reading, though. But that's not EL.

For me when I did it like that, it came out to be the exact as my erect.

If the majority of people who measure do it sitting or standing.. not laying down, how would it be wrong.

If you get 10 people and they all measure the same then you can get a good average. I never heard of laying down though.

i've always been longer flaccid than erect, by atleast 1 inch.

Well it was a real life doctor, and he measured a dude.
It's very accurate anyway. I never visit the doctors, but I found it pretty solid.

He more of said "There are alot of techniques how to measure, but this is the correct one."

So then I told that in another way, but this is more accurate.

i dont think you could say who is right and who is wrong. it is more a matter of consistency. as long as we here at [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]mos[/words] measure the same way, then we are measuring correctly in our best interest, we are all consistent which enables us to give our measurements and base one against the other. we could all measure totally "wrong" in someone else's eyes, but as long as we do it the same "wrong" way we are correct for our own purposes

Who cares what the right way to measure flaccid is ? We care about our erect length. I dont know about all your kinky sex lives, but I have sex with an erect penis. Therefore, I care about my erect length, so I'll be measuring erect. Thank you.

Actually guys I'm thinking it has do with the idea that on your back and pulling your penis up slightly at an angle that is about or exactly how long it gets when erect. I kind of makes sense. If you aren't stretching exactly all the way as hard as you can then yeah I can see the idea.

EXACTLY. We're not measuring ourselves hoping to make a doctor happy. It's about progress! As long as your method is consistent, it's correct.

5.15 inches long and 4.64 inches in circumstance, fwiw.

The method makes sense. By pulling the flaccid penis in that position he is imitating a maximum engorged erect penis. I have tried this method and its correct to my erect BP length. Also if you find your penis say 1'' longer than it is erect...use common sense, the guy isnt takeing Penis Enlargement into account. This is why you have the larger FSL compared to the EL. Usually, the FSL is a GREAT indicater for EL. This method is very accurate. But at the end of the day, what is correct? only what you see as correct. Measure how you like. I measure BP length and Mid-shaft girth.
