Hello,
If you have tried both, which do you think is better and why? The Hydromax Xtreme X30 vs. the Hercules w/ the Vacuvin mod. Also, if I did the vacuvin mod to the the Hydromax Xtreme how would the performance compare the the Hercules w/ vacuvin? How easy is it to pump up the bathmats w/ the wine pump vs. the original pump; ease of use is very important, the best pump is the one you'll use. With the accessories that i wan't the price difference isn't to big, but I don't wan't to waste money and at the same time i don't wan't to have to upgrade later. Thank you for your help!

I can't comment on The Extreme models as I only have The X40 and Goliath versions, (both of mine are modded w/the VV), I'd guess that The Extreme would be a bit easier to use straight out-of-the-box, but I'd have a minor concern regarding cleaning and upkeep. The VV is such a simple and cheap device that if it fails, (which I can't see how it could) you can just replace it for under $20.00usd...the wine-mod also replaces the entire BM valve system, further simplifying the entire mechanism. For my money, I'd go w/the basic X30 mod it and save my cash for the X40 once you've outgrown it...just my $0.02

From the x40 standpoint the amount of space in the x30 means easier to suck out air. Hercules is bigger but also the gaiter matters for pressure. Why not go straight for the x40?
i believe either of your options will do great with the mod but you may want the one with more space for growth

I'd say most bang for the buck is by going basic x30/x40 with vacuvin mod.

you can hit crazy vacuum with vacuvin.

All good replies!

I believe The Herc and X30 are very comparable in size, (if not exact) and with The VV mod, you could attain good results from The Goliath at 6"X5", but the next/logical progression would be The X40.

I'm not sure I get what your saying, im a little over 6 in length and a little over 5 in girth, how much room in the Hercules would I have left to grow?

By the way; X-series are more comfortable. In my opinion. It has to do with the gaiter material: in Hercules it is very rigid. (I suspect the same from Goliath, at least from the pictures it looks like so.)
Gaiter bite hasn't been such an issue with X30 than it was more with the Hercules.

And you can modify the X-series with the Vacu-vin. I have the Extreme, it's nice and very fluid to use, but price point, yes, it is pricey.
Overall, you could start using the X30 or X40, can't give an solid answer which to go for in your position feelthebulge.
You can get the Vacu-vin mod a bit later; the temptation in the Extreme series to go using the extra pressure from the ball could be too high.

And Kungfu, Hercules or X30 can house a 8x6 (as in that's about the maximum expansion to my understand, give or take a little ...), to use a Goliath length wise the suggestion is to be 9 inches or so.
But notably REDZULU used the Goliath for whole package pumping, so there's that of course.

As I am not filling the X30 yet, but I'm starting to hug the walls, I usually use a lubricant to aid the growth. I've spent relatively good amount of money on pumps and other PE equipment, my goal pretty much is to fill up the Hercules/X30 model, as in the "magic 8x6".

Anyway, still back on the OP; X30 or X40, depending what kind of numbers you're looking for. Considering the Extreme; it is nice, I am not denying that, but as said, the price point ... And the temptation.
Perhaps best to get the X30 or 40, then get a Vacu-vin later on.

Just saying ... Too hard too fast; usually discoloration. Some spots might occur, but if you keep going from lower intensity to harder, there is a smaller change of hard discoloration.

Thanks a lot ark, I think I'm going to go with the Hercules since it will be my first pump, I'll have vaccu vin on hand for down the road, what exactly is fairer bite by the way?

No problem. If you can, get the regular X30; easier to fill, gaiter is more comfortable and it does come with the comfort insert. Hercules is a valid product, but the changes made in the X30 are too great to pass on in my opinion.

Gaiter bite is what happens when the gallows (BELLOWS! :-D not gallows) (the gaiter) is hugging to your base and it leaves marks. It can get downright irritating, although often it's just a mark that fades quickly.

So, regular X30, that would be my choice anyhow. Hercules has that foam on the gaiter that will eventually peel off. With X-series that isn't an issue. Vacu-vin ranges from 10-20 USD depending where you buy, it is available on Amazon as well. I bought mine from a department store.
