Wow, your son looks EXACTLY like you. Got the same eyes an' everything. Not exactly the same as he looked when he was 17 from that picture you showed us, but cool stuff nonetheless.
Must be cool to have a hero as a father, huh? Wish I could say the same. But then again it won't be hard to outdo the fucker. But *ahem* ANYWAY...
DLD, I was curious. I hope that your son doesn't feel that he is being overshadowed by you considering you're more or less famous. Reason I say that is because Travis Bacon goes to The Evergreen State College where I'm at. He's the son of Kevin Bacon. He's trying to start his own band. It's hard for me to imagine the situation where you're only known as "Kevin Bacon's son" instead of having your own identity. I recall a similar time when I accompanied my mother to a feral cat shelter, where she was selling her paintings of animals to raise funding. I was more or less just there to help, but when I offered to help out they kept introducing me as "The son of the artist". But the whole time I kept thinking "Hey, I'm Tristan Carter, my own person; an aspiring cartoonist! I'm an artist too thank you very much!" I know that my identity as a cartoonist wasn't all that important given that time and place. But the point I'm trying to make is that one has to be careful. Not that I've ever been a parent much less a hero but that's my two cents, if you're interested.
