Skin Drying Out During Jelqing Issue

Hello all, newbie with a quick question.

I have an issue that my skin dries out//feels dried out, regardless of the amount of petroleum jelly I use while jelqing.
The dryness becomes slightly painful after some time, usually more prevalent the 2nd/3rd day of continuous jelqing routines.
This usually ends up with me taking 2-3 days off while the skin recovers.
If it makes any difference, my jelqing routine takes a span of roughly 20-25 minutes.
Does anyone have a solution and/or alternatives?

Welcome, I had the same problem. I used DLD's suggestion of using hydrocortisone cream, it's cheap around $3 a tube at a supermarket. The relief was almost instant. I rub a thin layer on once a day before I go to bed and the problem has not come back.

Have you tried baby oil or olive oil? I prefer oil instead of petroleum jelly (it's great for Bathmate though)

Could the dryness be caused by cleanup? I mean, petroleum jelly seems like something which needs to be cleaned up, so are you washing it off with soap & water or something.

A while ago I bought some emu oil, and darned if it isn't some pretty nice stuff. It gets absorbed into the skin pretty quick so probably not the best to use for jelqing, but I enjoy that it moisturizes without leaving much residue.

try washing off the petroleum jelly with only shampoo. using lots of soap to wash off the jelly will dry you up

silicone lube works best it think. its better than vaseline to me by far. it lasts forever. good thing is it doesnt absorb into your body.
