WOW! Thank you so much! I was only made aware today of the monthly give away and what fantastic news it was! I wasn't even aware of the give-aways.
I was travelling from the north of england to London to watch my favourite team play football / soccer. I had to get up early to catch the train. Unfortunately, upon boarding the train, I was told my student railcard had expired and that I needed to buy a new ticket, setting me back £80! Was so livid. Such a brutal waste of money and surprised that the railcard had expired so soon, usually they last for 3 years.
I was on the train when people started congratulating me telling me I had won! The news certainly cheered me up! All of a sudden, those £80 lost didn't seem so wasted any more.
I then saw my team trash our rivals 3-0 - what a great day!
Thank you everyone for having me as part of the community, I vow to continue to be as active as possible and keep spreading positivity. I've got a few good ideas for some threads which I think you will all enjoy!
