I did a quick check and found a study called "The elasticity and the tensile strength of tunica albuginea of the corpora cavernosa.".

The maximum stress was 1500mm Hg = 0.2 Newton/mm2. If you have a 5cm diameter penis you have a cross section of pi*R*R = 3.142*25mm*25mm = 2000mm.

stress = Force/Area --> Force = stress*Area = 0.2 N/mm2 * 2000mm = 400 Newton --> 40kg. It should be higher. Manual work would go up to 60kg if I recall correctly.

Maybe I haven't understood the study. There is another one. I have to take a look at it.

I feel like the dumb kid in the back seat :( I am not understanding this.

I just saw the word 'newton' and felt like having a snack

Sorry about that. Obviously imperial system is different. So what do you use most for Force: Pound-force? Also you don't use kilograms I suppose. So lbs would be better. I will make some adjustments in case somebody is interested.

Pounds will help me.

I'm not sure I agree with you guys. I bodybuilding and my father also was a bodybuilder. He was actually working shoulders in the gym once doing some light dumbbell lateral raises and his bicep tore. Completely off the bone and balled up. Required surgery. Another buddy of mine popped his hamstring loose doing lunges. I've seen people end up with pec tears and deltoid tears as well. Honestly, not even lifting crazy heavy. Just using improper form and hitting a bad angle.

So I just don't believe the penis is THAT much stronger as to require super human force. I think if you grabbed it tight with a good grip and pulled it towards the floor as hard as you can you could absolutely rip it. But no one knows FOR SURE I guess:/

Very different. We are not dealing with muscle here, we are dealing with soft tissue and ligaments. Tearing a ligament is much harder than a muscle tear. This does not mean caution should not be exercised but it is far more difficult to tear a ligament than a muscle. A warm up will also ensure that things go smoother too.

Hey guys quick question.

Does anyone know actually how hard you can manually pull flaccid before ripping the penis off??? I've been getting onto manual stretches more lately and I love it. I've been getting log pops lately but I'm JW, has anyone ever heard of someone tearing it off the bone? Like does anyone legit know how hard it can be pulled without ruining it??

Pull hard but not to the point of feeling a sharp pain.

Your brain will protect you.
I did not manage to do this. Your penis is a tough organ.

Like most said, pain is your programming limiter warning bells. Some may not have the limiter warning bells set correctly, so it may be good to also research on potential limits at first. I play on the safe side and set limit range and slowly creep toward the middle ground for a few days or even weeks before challenging the higher end of the range. This is my programming period for my body.

My mind body connection is perfect. I believe being on the edge of what is possible, with lifting weights (heavy weights) have been a good teacher of this. If I lost my abdominal pressure at 251 kilogram my back would have snapped in half. 😆
I'm 34 years old now, and I have been lifting weights since I was like 15 years old.

Exactly right. You might not catch an early warning sign if you pull too hard at once, and such a blunder can cause injury. Ease into the stretch a little more each time and pay attention to what you are feeling. If the stretch becomes too sharp at any point, back off on the intensity.
Literally ripping your penis off doing manual stretches can never happen, but a macro tear certainly can, along with a trip to the ER.

Increase the intensity as you progress.
