Has anybody ever had this done on their whole body?
Can you have your scrotum hair and pubes removed this way or would laser hair removal screw your fertility over if you had it done on the balls?

I've also heard that with any removal method, laser or electrolysis, any inactive hair follicle will start growing again if stimulated properly. WTF???
what stimulates an inactive hair follicle to grow again?

i new place opened up near by, im going to go ask about laser hair removal
i want to get it done, I can tell you somethings i do know

my brother got it done on his back, he had to have at least 5 sessions
done on his back, and he still gets a little hair growing back
not much tho. ill hit this thread tonight with more info

Once I became used to shaving, with a razor, it became so quick and irritation is now nil.

According to the people that do LHR, you can safely do the scrotum. Check out consumerbeware.com, especially the LHR forum in the "beware board". That site is all about hair removal, and there are tons of professionals that participate in the message board to answer all your questions.

oh my fucken god!!

i just got back from the place, it COSTS $6,000 to do my back
and $5,200 to do my chest , arms are seperate, im with mike
ill stick to shaving, that is way too much

i did ask about it affecting your un born's , and they said NO
its 100 percent safe, i might do it this summer, but right now
ill continue to shave:blush:

This is an interesting thread i have been think about this subject... i also read some stuff and i may say that in some places it says that the results were only temporarly, but i dont know how actual the sites were... so i will ask here, if someone as done this, what was the result??? how much time have it pass since the last time u went to LHR???

For most people LHR is not temporary. Some people do have unsatisfactory results since nothing is guaranteed. It depends on having the right color hair, the right equipment, and most importantly, the right practitioner.

Well my MOTHER did it, and she has no more hair on her legs as she says, sometimes 1 or 2 :)

The more you have a light colored skin, the better the results it appears.

While that's true. There are lasers (Nd:YAG) that work well on dark skin as well. My wife has dark skin and her treatments have worked fine. YAG lasers can also be used if there's a tan present, while with the others it's pretty much prohibited.

You can now by home hair removal lasers. It is suppose to be as strong as the Salon version (so it says)...

Size.

Size,
I don't believe people have found them to be effective. Go check that forum I mentioned and you should be able to find someone who posted their experience with that laser.

This is a link to one sold on ebay.

there is no way that these even come close to salon versions. my mum actually owns an N-lite V laser system which cost her £35000. the protective goggles cost £200 EACH.

It also depends on the color of your hair... light skin with dark hair will work best. People with light skin and blond hair get lousy results.

Thanks MDC, do you have the link to that forum?

That seems logical to me...
