Hi everyone, I just want to know why my libido lowered, I used to masturbate 4-5 times a day sometimes. This past 4 months I had to overcome the following situations:

1-the death of my uncle
2-my dad almost dies because of an internal bleeding in his stomach caused by an ulcer, he had an emergency operation to remove this
3-my girlfriend broke up with me
4-I have been playing 5-6 hours a day the guitar. I will make a recital in a few months
5-My hair started to thin, and this stresses me a bit

I don't know if these situations influenced my libido, stress lowers libido?. I would like to know if someone went throughout something similar like me. thanks!!

There are several guided meditation tracks that can help with the mental blocks causing this. I've been using Victoria Wizell's program for a week and notice a difference in EQ. Wendi Friesen also has a good program, but i prefer Wizell's
 
Well u are masturbating too often which is too much and thats what causing your low libido.Also the stress.
 
No, I disagree. While its true that the 4-5 times a day jerking off does play a role, what keeps your libido low is stress. We all know that stress is a thing that can fuck you up in any way. I really want to tell you that you need to do that that that that that that and that and it'll be back. You must overcome what happened to you in the last year or so and be stress free. :)

Without writing a book about neurotransmitter axis cascades .. versus cortisol, .. etc ... the hair loss shouts pretty loudly at a selenium issue.

'issue', heh, no pun intended re all the masturbation .... (cos ejaculation is also called issuing)

Those two would help address the hairloss, be sure to look at the other nutrients mentioned there for proper hormone production for libido, and although they don't get into it, also for suppression of inflammatory stress responses generally.

In addition to the nutrients at the above link, also add Iodine to get your thyroid gland upregulated as well with a good product like Xodine or Iodoral.

You can't go pick any of this stuff up at Wal-Mart or the local chain grocery and expect to have any serious impact .. those places have biologically worthless synthetic-based products that all come from the same couple of buildings in Jersey. If they work at all it's barely and by sheer random chance. Track down quality products like Solaray, NOW, Dr's Best ... and for the B vitamins, they should be co-enzyme activated (which is hard to find) so check out 'B Healthy' by Emerald Labs.

Also Stabilized R Alpha Lipoic Acid. (Has to be 'Stabilized R' ... Dr's Best usually has the cheap prices on this)

Also if you can afford it, Liposomal Vitamin C (instead of regular). This liposomal form is xxxxxxx times stronger than normal and zips in thru cell walls like it's nothing. Dr Mercola has the best prices as of right now, and also you can make it yourself, the info is online.

Another huge stressor versus proper hormone production is hormone-mimicking poisons in your environment. These are inflammatory and hormone-disruptive and typically act like Estrogen .. which is what girls have. They're not good for anybody, but since your libido is being a problem, and you're not a girl .. nor trying to be one, go ahead and also look up "Phthalates" and how to Phthalate Detox.

To a large extent you -are- your body. Get the body what it needs to work right and then even meditation.. and acceptance.. and resurgence to thrive all become easier .. because the first thing you're doing isn't banging your head (and all the interconnected impossibly complex hypothalamus pituitary thyroid testicular functions) straight into a wall.

That is, if someone recorded your voice a year ago, and again right now, .. the one from right now would probably be in a different key .. stepped down in energy from previously. Similar to nascent sciences like picking a sexual partner based on the major histocompatibility complex being sensed by the vomeronasal organ, people also pick friends and sexual partners based upon the other person having dominant vocal tonal biomarkers which are low or missing in the other person. You balance out their energies, and they yours. But after large stress events this can change and then they're no longer getting that from you. It happens so often that it's full-on cliche .. but the reasons for it are just now getting checked out.

I'd also meant to add a couple of other things ...

*The type of selenium should be 'selenomethionine'. It's better (sometimes far better) than other forms and pretty much the same price.

*I mentioned avoiding cheap synthetic vitamins, .. there are cheap ineffective minerals to be avoided too. No product of any serious quality will have Oxided mineral forms. (zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, etc). Those mineral types are inorganic and not very bioavailable to the body. (In fact the buildup of inorganic minerals over decades is being attributed to joint and tendon stiffness as people age .. a kindof petrification of the body from the, essentially, -rocks- that people keep eating and can't properly use or process. Apparently a fix for this is flushing/chelating the cheap minerals out with something like Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother Enzyme. Can't vouch for it because of not being that old but there's a lot of literature to the positive .. turns the inorganic oxide forms into an acetate form so they can be used or flushed out.) Quality mineral products will have a chelated form and sound like an "ate" instead of an "ide". Examples: citrate, aspartate, picolinate (like magnesium citrate, copper aspartate, zinc picolinate, etc). Lower quality than those is like a gluconate .. better than nothing but for the same trouble go ahead and find the higher qualities. Sulfates aren't awful .. but you're getting close to inorganic with those. The body does need sulfur though to function properly .. you can get this from your diet in in numerous vegetables and meats. Lists of high sulfur foods are all over the internet. I prefer egg yolks as the organic sulfur source because they also contain phosphatidylserine and phosphatidylcholine ... those phospholipids sit on either side of your cells walls and (along with your pH level) control cellular respiration and signalling .. and they're preposterously expensive to get from a supplement pill.

Since I mentioned pH, I'll note one more increasingly esoteric thing then shut up: check out Dr Jerry Tennnant and "Healing is Voltage" .. from youtube videos or radio interviews or his book by that title. (The figures seem odd because Negative is 'higher' .. and better .. than Positive, but it deals with the electron donor status of a field state. - is good, + is way bad.) Normal cellular voltages are around (negative) -23 millivolts. A damaged cell will attempt to go UP to -50 millivolts to heal, then return down to normal. Anything much lower than -23 begins to allow or cause illness. -5 is a chronic illness. +10 is radical chronic illness. +30 is Cancer. Also the body's pH controls the function of maximum dissolvable oxygen in your system. The difference between an illness-causing acidic body pH of 5.2 and a normal healthy body pH of 7.35 is a 30x (!!) difference in the amount of oxygen your body can hold. If anyone on a crappy acidic diet (and who've exhausted their pancreas's alkalizing magnesium bicarbonate function) is running around feeling tired all the time .. and they are .. imagine having 30 times more oxygen in your body for the same amount of breathing effort. !! They're suffocating ... while anaerobic parasites, that breathe sugar instead of oxygen, wake up and start partying .. by eating you and making you sick.

Ok, -one- more cos same subjects ... also avoid synthetic oils like the plague they are. 'Canola' Oil (rapeseed) .. and Cottonseed Oil are in everything lately. If people eat them, without eating the right essential fats (Omega 3, Omega 6, some Omega 9) then the body has no choice but to use that garbage as the material for its cell walls. But those materials are plasticizing and do not properly respirate oxygen or nutrients or toxins in/out of the cell walls. Omega 3 cell walls are like 'a cheesecloth'. Canola/Cottenseed cell walls are like 'a Saran Wrap'. This will kill off mitochondria, then the cells too, like mousepox through a big city.

Anyone had a experience where there libido lowered and then you recovered it?. Now my parents will go through a divorce very soon, now I have another stress factor

From my own experrience, when I suffered a severe heart break in 2017, my libido became low. I think it has to do with stress and heart break combined with your heavy masturbation habit. But I'm 100% sure that you are in a much better place now because this is an old thread.
