Have I been gifted another chance???

Hi all I'm at a bit of a loose end at the moment. A girl who I dated around 3 years ago has become single all of a sudden and I'd really like to try and get in touch with her, because I made a huge mistake not taking things further with her. I think I only have one shot at this so I need to take the right approach, any advice guys?

Nah that happen to me a couple of times, actually the girl I broke up with recently was someone I had dated before. My approach or strategy is to have no strategy and just be straight up, girls appreciate (people in general) appreciate when people are genuine with them. Not saying you will for sure get her but at least if you don't you go out like a man, where as if you try to "game" or some pickup tactics and bullshit the odds are pretty much the same and if you fail you go down like a little manipulative bitch.

Simply reach out and call her. Ask her to meet for coffee and keep things light so you can read her. If things feel good ask her to dinner and take it from there. I would not go for a serious date right off the bat, I would opt for coffee so you can access the situation first.

all good advice, but I'll add one thing:

get yourself in the mindset of being the leader/decision maker (it doesn't matter about what) just so she knows you're running the show. the last thing she wants to hear is 'sure babe, wherever/whatever you want', so don't be afraid to be yourself and be a man (our society has essentially 'shamed' the masculinity right out of the man) which means lead her where she knows she wants to go

I have been out of the dating game for over 30 years but I would have to agree with another post, straight forward and to the point. I am not sure that trying to tap dance around the issue would get you where you want to be, just my opinion
