Indeed i have only seen really professional attitude from Bathmate. i honestly don't know if its a huge company or a couple of guys sitting in a small office or what they are. but they seem to have the right attitude about their product, and as a business owner myself i can only say that this has the upmost attitude.

Maybe Bathmate doesn't make that extra cash because they send you a new 1. but when you need a X-40 at some point you won't hesitate buying one because you know your in good hands.
and when other people read this they know it is a company who wanna be a good company. and this,,, should be appreciated. cause there is alot of crappy companys around

Hello Agust,
I bought my Bathmate X-40 around 2 months ago from the Ebay seller "leluvshop", because that was the only seller I could find who would ship to Australia (everytime I checked the Bathmate Australia website they were out of stock, and did not answer my email). I didnt know this site existed until I had bought it and was investigating how to use it properly. (Sorry DLD, and thanks for your awesome site) The first thing I noticed was the warranty date on the box was 06 sep 2008. I didnt worry about it at the time, as I have checked and checked and am certain this is the real Bathmate and not a fake. This is my problem: When I put the Bathmate on, it slowly but surely sucks the skin on the base of my penis into the crevices inside the rubber plunger mechanism, which means I cant keep pumping after its been on for 2 minutes, because to do so is very painfull. Where my skin is getting pulled in has been cut through at times, but I let it heal and try again. Now if I use this Bathmate everyday then I have a shocking line of blisters across that area, but if I dont use it everyday I dont get any results.
There is a pinhole in the weld on the top of the rubber plunger that squirts water as I pump, Im not sure if I am losing pressure through it, or it is why my skin is getting pulled into the crevice. Because I can only pump at the start of the session it wont hold full pressure for long, thus the results arent very good. I have tried both flacid and errect pumping but the result is the same.... more blisters, more cuts. I also noticed the foam padding is not perfectly aligned, and a sharp edge is visible where I think it should be covered.
Please advise me of how I can solve this problem as I have seen the potential of your product, but think I might have a dud unit. I have also considered buying X-40 but am not prepared to if it is not going to be any different to this.
Thank you for your time and I beg you for help.

Put a complaint in with ebay and purchase through MOS, an authorized dealer of the official product. If it is cheaper than our price it IS a knockoff.

Hi DLD,
No Im sure its not counterfeitt. The price was higher than your discount (I wish I had found MOS before I found Bathmate). The quality is excellent (besides the pinhole), colour, sticker exactly the same, rubber is smell free.. packaging and documentation is exact. Nobody counterfeitts that well. How do I put pics on here to show you my Bathmate, and the damage it has done?

The blistering/ cutting is only occuring on the top. The BL pics are the blisters, the Bathmate pics are my Bathmate...

Can you contact the seller and ask for a replacement? They may accommodate this

Im in the process of waiting for them to contact their Bathmate distributor... there is only 1 in the USA.... any chance you could get their contact details from Agust? I only fill the X-40 to 17cm.... but girth is maxed out. Im wondering if X-40 would do less damage. Is there a minimum size you need to be for it?

You should definitely move into the X-40 if you are maxed out, length really makes no difference. If you want to order through me and I can ship to you but I will need compensation for the shipping.

Hello, does anyone know if the email addresses used to send pictures of the faulty rubber base ring are still good. I sent an email the other day with a couple pictures to info@Bathmate.dk and Im wondering. Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I tried gluing it with LockTite, but its still not right. I sent an email to Bathmate last thursday, but no response yet. I also sent an email to support yesterday (but too early to expect a response). I will follow up my email to support with a picture of the device. I'm glad I found this thread, cause I've been bummed out about not getting being able to look forward to my awesome Bathmate workouts.

Update: Bathmate's support contacted me. There's nothing better than a great product with great support. I'm a happy camper once again.

Yea guys um, gluing rubber with anything but a RUBBER sealant type of cement is always a bad idea. You want the bond once cured, to remain flexible. ''Super glue'' or similar CRACKS once it sets and you try to flex it. LOC TITE??? That's a thread locker dude, LOL. I don't know what would make you want to try Loc Tite. I wouldn't think it would even bond rubber to rubber seeing as how it's a bond under pressure type of 'glue'.

You gotta give me a little more credit than that. ;)
LOCTITE makes several types of products. I'm familiar with their threadlockers, I've used them when working on my car. The product that I used was a waterproof rubber based clear sealant which bonds to plastics, rubbers etc. The product information is here http://www.loctiteproducts.com/p/cntct_osns/overview/Loctite-Stik'n-Seal-Outdoor-Adhesive.htm .
A couple of its highlighted features (per the product documentation are):
Waterproof
Dries to a semi-flexible bond

The bond it created is good, however, there were some sections of the foam that didn't pull off cleanly before I tried fixing the Bathmate. As a result, the foam didn't line up well and some of the Bathmate is exposed to my skin (and it hurts).

AAAH, ok. ;) I was thinking the thread locker stuff a guy would use on rifle sights, that's what I'm familiar with. IF I had an issue with my own Bathmate seal coming off for some reason (shows no signs after a month of near daily use so far) I'd be inclined to use something like aquarium cement. Something that cures to a waterproof, flexible bond.

Ive got a question, I was under the assumption from previous threads that if the rubber base was faulty and coming off to take some pictures of the Bathmate and they would send a replacement. I just got an email back from them stating for me to send it back in to the U.K. so they can further inspect. This base is totally falling off and its pretty clear in the pictures, every time i try and use it the hard plastic rips into my skin so I cant use it. Now Bathmate wants me to spend 60 bucks to send it back for "inspection" and even stated that color wasnt covered in the warranty when I said would it be possible for the replacement to be clear colored haha! It would be less of a hassle to just buy a new one than pay more than half of the cost of the Bathmate to ship with any quickness overseas. Sounds like some of you have had a much better customer service experience than I'm having. Anyone have any feedback on this? I think the Bathmate is awesome and I just want the thing working right without having to go through hell to get a replacement!!

I will send this to Bathmate for you.

Dear Kawai123,

Its unfortunate that you had this problem. This is a known problem for a certain Batch and you do qualify for a replacement, but since you tried to ammend it we would not be able to send you a new unit unless you send it back to us. If you send it back (Return address can be found on our websites) and give us a tracking number, we will send you a replacement immediately.

Due to a spike in self inflicted Bathmate damages (not saying you are) this is the only option sir. Also, color changes are not possible for replacement units as per the Manufacturers Warranty.

Kind regards,

Agust

Hi! I have a problem with my Bathmate. The rubber base ring came out from my Bathmate then I put super glue to glue it back but when I pumped it to the highest pressure, I can felt that after a few seconds the pressure is getting lesser and lesser. Suction was not as strong as before and can't few the EXPANSION that I want.

I do not wanna replace Bathmate with any other equipment/exercise and I really like using the Bathmate. Is there any solution to fix this?

Just send it with normal mail that has tracking, send the tracking number to support@Bathmate.eu and you will get a new unit in the mail right away; no need to wait. If the problem is a fault, the shipping cost will be reimbursed to you fully sir.
