Well I do not have a 9 inch, but I won't even want one. I was really concerned whether my last goal should be 8 or maybe even less. There are very very very few women that can take in 9 inches no problem. I believe that men want bigger than 8 not for the purpose to satisfy their women, but for the purpose to show off and have the confidence of "the biggest" and "the best" and when the chick sees it- they like (I would and I am sure that everyone would) the "This is fucking huge" reaction from the girl. 8 or 9 aren't just "an inch or two" bigger than 7, it's a Vast difference in volume. You can get an idea of this stuff over at Visualizer. Haven't checked them out in 3 or 4 years, it's different but still very informative on this exact matter.
