Ok , I was cut at a young'ish age of around 8 years old. It has crossed my mind from time to time as to the way I was cut is normal? I'm looking for an answer to what this piece of skin is that is attached from my shaft to the head of my penis? I've never had any serious problems with this piece of skin apart from the odd little rip which scabs over rather quickly. It's not the frenulum which is beneath the head so I am thinking it may be some kind of post op healing abnormality ? Any answers would be great.

I've been thinking this for some time. I'm beginning to wonder if this could be holding me back slightly in gaining erect length. I wouldn't say it's super tight when erect but a little tight. Hopefully someone with some expert knowledge can shine some light , DLD ???

I am no expert but it would seem that if it is even a little tight when erect it would be holding you back some. It looks like it has one attachment point at the head and the other at the shaft, I would think that it would suppress some gains
 
Looks similar to the frenulum but on the side. I would think at the very least if you did grow it may cause you to have a curve to that side. Maybe the experts will be along shortly to give you some more info
 
Your Frenulum looks perfectly normal to me. I do not have a Frenulum but when I did it was similar to your's with the exception that mine pulled against my head. This help me back from gaining length and one day, by accident, I sheared it off and my length gains started up again. To me it looks normal.

So this is my frenulum? I always thought that was underneath the head. Who would of known.

I'm glad to get some clarification on this. I've been searching the net like mad only to come up short. I actually asked my brother earlier on if he has the same because he is also cut and as it turns out he does.

Not to create worry B but I have never seen it on the side like that. I had to look at my own to make sure I was not crazy but I don't have that

I've been looking at pics online for a while now and I can't find one the same. I asked my brother because he's cut and also shares my DNA so it makes sense that his would be similar to myself. My brother is gay so I'm sure he has some kind of knowledge of different looks and he said he's never seen one like mine or his. Yes he now knows we are the same because I sent him a picture when I asked him if he had the same thing .

Considering both you and your brother have the same thing I guess it could be genetics, sounds feasible to me

Yuppers! I am a freak of nature! There is absolutely NOTHING normal about me. I am God's creation and He was very creative in making me, very creative indeed!

I've always believed that I'm a breed apart 😂😂 I prefer it that way. Nothing worse than being the same as everyone else. I d rater stand out from the crowd.

What you have on the head of your penis is a phenomenon called a 'penile adhesion' or 'skin bridge,' I don't think it's very common but it is normal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skin_bridge

lmao. Funny story, I got into an argument with Chuck and it almost escalated into a fight. The friend that was with me said "You know that is Chuck Norris" and I was like, 'that short dude' It was him and am I glad I waled away from that fight!

OP, it is definitely NOT normal! It caused buy your mutilation (circumcision) and men who have their whole penis don't have it. Every time I see something like this it reminds me why I hate circumcision so much and why I became an intactivist.
I think that maybe you can fix it with a surgery and I recommend you to do it because it can fill with dirt and cause problems.
Anyway, you can read about all of the circumcision damages here: How to Identify Circumcision Damage in the Adult Male Maybe you will find more damages happened to you because of your mutilation and you didn't know.

I appreciate the information bro, thank you. I will have a good read through it. I've thought for a long time now that the skin attachment isn't normal but I hadn't seen other units in so much detail until I joined the forum. The only thing that's ever bothered me is the way it looks and fairly recently it feeling a little tight when I'm erect. As for other mutations as you put it, I actually have a hole that is very much like a piercing. In fact when I was about 18 I actually put a bar through it to impress a girl I was seeing haha

Exactly, it is an easy fix and down time will be around a month. Insurance may also cover this if it interferes with sex.

Definitely no hygiene problems. It feels a little tight sometimes and I've had the odd little rip.

I'll get it looked at some time in the future. Luckily living in the UK I don't need insurance , I can go to the doctor's and get treated for free. The NHS is excellent.

I can't see the picture. I have a right curve. The skin is tight at the spot where the curve occurred. I don't know if this is as a result of masturbating with my left hand or from being cut when I was still small. But I'm working on correcting it now.

@DLD do you think, correcting my curve will give me more length gains?
