The Use of Yohimbe

Can someone please tell me if Yohimbe has helped them in any way?

I mean what are the side effects? Does it cause hair loss or liver damage?

Bah. Yohimbe. You'd get better results from taking sugar pills. I took yohimbe for a while and all it did was make me jittery and make my insomnia 10X worse. Not the way to go IMO.

It worked for me but it made me breakout red. Literally my whole body looked like a tomato and itched.

It's a good thing but, is one of those natural supplements that really has to be taken with caution. In my opinion it's right up there with Ephedra/drine. You have to start out with a very small dose and see how you react. If you have ANY family history of heart problems, high blood pressure, stroke, anything like that, I would stay away from the stuff.

You'd be much better off with something like Arginine, viagra, or anything else that wont mess with your heart rate.

I agree with Still. I took Y for a while and was not very impressed. Although it will give you a boner without trying, it didn't seem to last very long, and the side effects were not worth it. It'll make your heart race (tachycardia) and raise your blood pressure (hypertension). After repeated use you'll build up a tolerance, so you need to take more to get the same effect. You're better off with viagra or cialis.

stay away from this, unless ya sure ya know what your doing.
It can be lethal if took in high dosage or to peeps with bad hearts, blood pressure etc etc and isnt always guranteed to work.

I would say use a HERBAL viagra as an alternative.

I have been taking it for two weeks now and have noticed a side effect that I never read about. I can't hold an erection without stimulation. When I get hard I am very hard and the shaft lookseven more vascular than normal. But as soon as I stop touching it, my erection immediately fades. It has gotten so bad that I can't jelq more than 10 times before having to stroke myself back up. It happened for the the first time last week. I thought tht maybe I was having an off day. But it happened again this morning and it has to be related to the yohimbe. I'll post again in a few days to see if it the side effect goes away.

The BETTER alternative to this, is Muira Pumia the Brazzilian herb which is proven and also alot safer.

What is wierd though is that Yohimbe is supposed to help blood flow in not out yet for me it seems to exactly that. Where do you get the Muira Pumia?

I have been taking yohimbe for over a year.I don't notice any heart racing.
I do have slightly elevated blood pressure.I take it out of habit along with goat weed,niacin,and ephedra,also ginko biloba.

Ok. Its been a couple of days of the Yohimbe and the plumbing is back to normal. Whew!! If thats what erectile dysfunction is like I can definitely live without it!

Yohimbe blended with goat weed and muira puama is some good stuff...

I take a brand called Cobra with an additional standardized yohimbe supplement and it's been good stuff. Works real good for those times when your drunk and having a hard time getting it up, or if you wanna have fun but your body isn't acting right.

I have tryed the Cobra too,but the dose(mg)of yohimbe is lower than I'm getting with the straight yohimbe.But the cobras cheap I think I paid $14.00 per bottle.They sell enzyte in walgreens now but its pricey 30 pills for $40.00
but its a pretty good supplement.

I do it every day without any problems.some people are more sensitive to meds than others same for herbs
