I have no problem talking to women, it's just that a single lonely looking guy in a bar isn't really that attractive imo. I could go to the club, but again I feel weird going by myself...do I have an issue I have to get over here? Anyone got any tips?

By all means, you are correct in your thinking. I worked with my most recent ex, and when things went wrong....hell I don't work there anymore, enough said. I had to get out. So yes, be very careful with where you pick up a girl, but the gym might actually be a place where you want to be uncomfortable. I say that because I am a bit at my gym.
