I have been using a dilapitory cream to remove my pubic hair, but I have noticed the last few times it does not get it all, I was thinking about shaving , but was wanting know what is a good recommended cream.

Wax it off, bleach your butthole and get into adult entertainment buddy! Lol

Just kiddin... You might be solo on this one I havent seen anyone in the Brotherhood that tried to get rid of their pubic hair...

lol i remove it so it wont get in the way when using a pump.

I take my electric buzzer to a certain length and shave it off with double lotion female razer. Silky smooth lol

Depends what you want to do with it. For sex shave it all or enough. Or you can trim but shave the balls and penis. I love shaving

Many different view points to having hair, especially on your unit.

Overall, I would suggest against depilatory creams on your private parts to speak of. Loaded with very nasty chemicals; not good for your skin.

Personally, I've plucked some hair off, but most of the time I will take a moment to soften the skin with hot shower, apply a shaving cream (or soap with a brush, like you would use to shave your facial hair) and shave with the grain of the hair growing. At least the first shave; you can do parallel or against the grain to get that silky smooth result. But be warned, like Nolove mentioned, there's a possibility about ingrown hair.

For PE business, I'd say trimming to a certain length with a trimmer is good enough. And basically that's good enough for must stuff anyway. If you wish to have blow jobs, it's good to keep the hair relatively short. I mean, it's not nice to get hair in your mouth while doing the business. If you have a lover / friend, of course it's good to discuss about the wishes one way and another. Some like it hairier, some like it smooth.

TL;DR = get shaving cream, a brush, use a clean razor (Mach 3 is alright in my experience, you can use one blade razors as well, as long it's sharp; don't push the razor, just guide the razor gently!), remember good hygiene.
Shaving cream or a soap along with a brush will last you a good amount of time.

I'm in the process of lasering. It's a bit obnoxious, but it's working. Read about it and see if it's for you.

P.S. new lasers don't really hurt, so make sure you get a legit place. Also, Groupon has good deals on this stuff

what I do is trim the base the closest I can, and shave the shaft and balls. but shaving down there you want to do a single pass over the shaft, the repeat until its smooth, never do repetitive passes as that can irritate the skin down there and that ain't fun lol

it might be for the day you shave, but the next day its all irritated and itchy

Well, you do have a point. I've always shaved all my life despite the negativity that comes with it.

The irritation and itchyness is something that usually happens in the beginning. One needs to make a routine out of the shaving, then the skin won't react so badly.
I mean, considering many probably shave their facial hair and do that relatively often without irritation; routine, skin gets used to it. Of course products used in the shaving process matter as well, as in the shaving cream or soap, the razor you are using and the way you are shaving.

As megamike mentioned, single pass is for the best. And in my experience (albeit I mentioned using Mach 3 is viable option) a safety razor as in one blade is for the better. At least so it has been on my facial hair, based on experience.

There are products on the market to reduce the irritation after shaving, some of them suitable for private parts. At least where I live there's a line of shaving products related to hair removal "downtown."

For the hairs that are on my shaft I use a pair of tweesers to get them. Hurts like hell but they don't come back for awhile. You could also wax them off too

Really? I just shave it off, it doesnt hurt if you shave erect :/

I think everyone here should try sugar wax. Its cheap, reliable and takes minutes to make. Never tried it for pubs but worked on my thighs and happy trail .

This a good way to go, I've done it myself. And honestly, if you take your time and have a pair of good tweezers, it doesn't hurt that much. It's good kind of "pinch" the area where you're plucking.
Look at the direction of the hair growth and pull. I did pluck a while ago and didn't experience big discomfort. But it surely takes time!

Sugar wax recipes can be found online. I haven't tried those and likely I won't.
Too much hassle in my opinion, even though it's not so complicated what I've read about it. Anyone is free to try it: Google Sugar wax recipe. Sugar, water and lemon juice.
I just mainly trim my pubes and leave elsewhere untouched so shaving and plucking is my go-to solution.

Hard sugar wax:
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup water

Soft sugar wax:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup water

I used the soft one, and worked pretty good. Trial and error. Might try it sometime this week again

are there people who wax their dicks? lol

Yeah alot do. I mean its better than shaving . It reduce time of growth as it pulls the stem of the hair. Plus shaving you can get razor burns and cuts.

maybe it does, but it probably hurts as fuck! may cause folliculitis as well

Ya thats always a possibility... I feel that the softer wax may not be as harsh to your soldier though!! Haven't tried it yet, but i will when i get some lemon juice lol

Folliculitis can happen with any hair removal method I would say. Maybe laser not so much, but overall there is a good chance it might occur whatever the removal method is.
Basically remembering adequate hygiene is usually enough against folliculitis. It's good thing to remember clean shaving products. After-shave products, like perhaps aloe vera juice can help in combat against ingrown hairs and related aggravation.

Interesting to hear about the sugar waxing, I hope it works out for you eugine! And for others as well, who are willing to try.

Simple. Trim through progressions or not, then shave erect penis and make your balls shrivel up

Damn shaving while erect i never thought about that. Then all the skin on your shaft would be tight so it would easier to shave and not cut your dick, clever! I use an electric razor, I've had bad encounters with manual razors in the past.

You have to shave while erect if you're shaving the shaft because its easier and less dangerous. Also make sure to make your balls cold if you're going to shave them so that they shrivel up, they become harder for a razer to cut

Alright thanks for the tips Kyo! I never thought about the erect part though but now that i think about it it makes so much more sense to shave your shaft while erect. And yes i always make sure that my balls are shrivelled when i shave them. Do you shave your balls with a manual razor or a electric razor?

I shave with a manual razor; I got a lot more irritation from an electric razor when I tried one. Remember to keep your shaving hand free of soap and other slippery stuff and naturally the razor handle as well.

Manual razor. Electric can be more scary and has potential cutting power.

Ya I am going to make my way back to the manual soon. But, I did shave while erect today and yes it was a lot easier I am so happy you told me about this! This is going to make shaving my shaft a lot easier now :)

I completely agree with you,but my point is,I feel that waxing is more liable to cause folliculitis since the hair is pulled from its root instead of being cut on the epidermis, which mean the hair follicle will be an open space for bacteria to enter and cause the inflammation

I would love to hear the experience of someone waxing, this would be something I would try if someone went first :)

Hydrocortisone and shaving daily. Eventually, maybe 3 weeks, you will no longer have any of the skin issues.

I get ingrown hairs with a razor so I use the Philips Norelco full body groomer and it works really well and is pretty quick. You can get it wet so I just do it every few days in the shower.

I will have to try that, I have one so why not?

Ingrown hair caused a lump beneath the base area of my penis. Now I'm making sure I shave off every hair from my penis shaft every 7 days.
