arkailija;713075 said:This a good way to go, I've done it myself. And honestly, if you take your time and have a pair of good tweezers, it doesn't hurt that much. It's good kind of "pinch" the area where you're plucking.
Look at the direction of the hair growth and pull. I did pluck a while ago and didn't experience big discomfort. But it surely takes time!
Sugar wax recipes can be found online. I haven't tried those and likely I won't.
Too much hassle in my opinion, even though it's not so complicated what I've read about it. Anyone is free to try it: Google Sugar wax recipe. Sugar, water and lemon juice.
I just mainly trim my pubes and leave elsewhere untouched so shaving and plucking is my go-to solution.

Hard sugar wax:
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup water
Soft sugar wax:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup water
I used the soft one, and worked pretty good. Trial and error. Might try it sometime this week again
Yeah alot do. I mean its better than shaving . It reduce time of growth as it pulls the stem of the hair. Plus shaving you can get razor burns and cuts.

megamike;713232 said:maybe it does, but it probably hurts as fuck! may cause folliculitis as well

eugine8plz;713321 said:Damn shaving while erect i never thought about that. Then all the skin on your shaft would be tight so it would easier to shave and not cut your dick, clever! I use an electric razor, I've had bad encounters with manual razors in the past.
kyomoto;713426 said:You have to shave while erect if you're shaving the shaft because its easier and less dangerous. Also make sure to make your balls cold if you're going to shave them so that they shrivel up, they become harder for a razer to cut
eugine8plz;713432 said:Alright thanks for the tips Kyo! I never thought about the erect part though but now that i think about it it makes so much more sense to shave your shaft while erect. And yes i always make sure that my balls are shrivelled when i shave them. Do you shave your balls with a manual razor or a electric razor?
kyomoto;713441 said:Manual razor. Electric can be more scary and has potential cutting power.
arkailija;713253 said:Folliculitis can happen with any hair removal method I would say. Maybe laser not so much, but overall there is a good chance it might occur whatever the removal method is.
Basically remembering adequate hygiene is usually enough against folliculitis. It's good thing to remember clean shaving products. After-shave products, like perhaps aloe vera juice can help in combat against ingrown hairs and related aggravation.
Interesting to hear about the sugar waxing, I hope it works out for you eugine! And for others as well, who are willing to try.
megamike;713526 said:I completely agree with you,but my point is,I feel that waxing is more liable to cause folliculitis since the hair is pulled from its root instead of being cut on the epidermis, which mean the hair follicle will be an open space for bacteria to enter and cause the inflammation
doublelongdaddy;713562 said:I would love to hear the experience of someone waxing, this would be something I would try if someone went first

I stopped shaving,I only trim the base but shave the balls for better comfort
