Question on pumps

Hey guys, I need some real advice. I am pumping mainly for Foreskin Restoration and I want to know are there different types of pump cylinders particularly in hardness?

I have a thick solid acrylic tube like the ones from VacuTech but I read that some people "Milk" or "Jelq" the tube of the pump whilst they are inside and pumped to encourage skin to roll over.

My pump is way too hard to milk it so are there pumps which are soft skinned instead of hard acrylic? If yes can you point me in the right direction.

If no, can you please explain how on earth you milk the acrylic tube?
