Perineum anatomy & stretching

I have searched the forums and gone to various anatomy sites and have a question. Some anatomy texts show inner penis connective tissue e.g. ligament) at the base in the perineum area: others do not. I have noticed an ache in the perineum area after sessions involving straight out or upward stretching/hanging (not noticed in downward stretching/hanging).

Questions: Is there connective tissue at the base of the of the inner penis?
If so, is this tissue a point for gaining length?
Is this transitory ache a sign of stretching that tissue?

Thanks DLD. There appear to be several muscles in the perineum area. Is there any way to loosen or lengthen them to release more of inner penis? Thanks
 
I've touched upon this loosely in the expressive stretches thread and the Fundiform ligament is located deep in this area. The muscles to the region seem to protect the penis when we want to really hammer that inner region, so in affect we battle that aswell as the ligaments but by doing reverse kegels you are doing something to the pelvic muscles that helps you target the area around this region.

I was going to say that RED would be VERY helpful in this area.

Well I read the whole 'Expressive Stretching' thread. That certainly creates a tug and ache in the perineum. Thanks Red & DLD; the anatomy and explanation seem to show a good area to stretch for growth, in addition to the suspensory ligament and the tunics. Thanks again.
 
Well Red, I did a straight stretch and reached under and hooked the inner penis and tried a few 'Bow' like stretches. Boy, the inner penis is like a cable. I also tried the stretch you outlined with the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]Power Assist[/words]. I've got a lot of work ahead to loosen that area up. I appreciate your posts, and look forward to any further comments. Thanks again.
