Hey, has anyone here ever used NO Xplode? I am thinkin of pickin a tub of that up tomorrow and wanted to hear your guys opinions.

I normally just use Cell-Tech and lots of protein drinks throughout the day, but I really want to try some of that NO stuff for the pump. I have a question tho, is it a bad idea to use Cell-Tech AND NO Xplode at the same time? NO Xplode is a pre-workout drink and Cell-Tech is post. They both contain creatine tho, so I'm wondering if thats too much.

Any help is much appriciated!
 
I would imagine that they would go well together. As far as too much creatine, I doubt it would be too much. The best way to cycle creatine (from my results) is using mini-cycles. You can use it indefinitely with mini-cycles lasting two or three days. Load up for two or three days and don't use any for two or three days. Worked better for me than the traditional one month on, one month off.
 
Personally, i would never buy Cell-Tech products... over-hyped and over-marketed products don't mean they work well or they're the best products. They just mean you spend more money for any given product. I prefer to buy bulk powders and mix what i want in my protein shake.

Thats a very good idea and I usually mix l-arginine and creatine monohydrate in my protein shakes, but in all honesty my fatigue/recovery time is much better when I use Cell-Tech after a workout. It is a bit pricey, but I definitly notice a difference. NO-Xplode is from BSN. I used it today when I lifted and didnt notice a whole hell of alot of difference. I was able to lift a bit more than normal, but that was probably just from the caffeine type effects. I'll have to reassess this stuff after a week of use.
 
Well L-Arginine and Creatine Mono are old school... there are much better versions of each available today. If you read the ingredients on NO-Xplode you'll see what i mean.

Exactly. Mini-cycles are the way to go. Three days loading, four days off. Or two days loading, two days off.
 
Yea, i hear ya... I'm sure that it will work many different ways. I guess it's all about what's convenient for each person... for me it's most convenient taking it daily with my shakes.
 
You probably won't feel too much during the workout. There just isn't enough Alginine in No-Explode. I used to stack it with additional Alginine-k to get that extra pump during the workout. But that sort of defeat the purpose and I don't use No-Explode anymore. I now stack pure Creatine and Alginine-K by buying them in bulk. The only problem is that you have to take Alginine-K on a empty stomach and you definitely need some carb before workout. Also, don't take any caffein product when you are taking Alginine-K, that will cancel each other out.

Alginine-k...are you refering to Arginine Alpha-keto-glutarate...or is this some entirely different animal? Where did you buy this stuff?

I saw great gains doing exactly what you said also. However, I read that after two or three days, your body recognizes that it is getting a shitload of creatine, and simply shuts down endogenous synthesis and down-regulates receptors. Once I read this, and began mini-cycles, I gained an extra ten pounds on top of the ten I gained from my "every day" routine.
 
Yeah, I dont know what Alginine is either, please inform us :P.

Is that maybe the stuff thats in GAKIC? GAKIC = that newer supplement from Muscle Tech that supposedly gives you a 10.5 percent increase in strength....I havn't talked to anyone who has tried that out tho so I have no idea how remotely close to being true that is.

I dont think so far after 3 days of NO-Xplode I have noticed a significant temporary gain in overall strength, but I can say that the post-workout pump sticks around longer than it did before.

Interesting... i think i may try that out.

I hope you see the same gains I did. Let us know.

I did three days of 25-30 grams, followed by four days of 0 grams. It took about one month to gain the ten pounds.
