Had them when I was young. Had surgery and got hit by a car. Doctor put me on them roids.

So you have already had surgery to reduce or the surgery from the car accident caused them?

When I was young I had a hernia operation when I was young. (The beginning of my steriod era.) Later on I got hit by a car and doctors put me on more medicine. By the 5th grade I had mini boobs because of the medicine I was taking. Now I have full blown tits.

You have a hormone imbalance in your body to where you're testosterone is too low. If you were given steroids in your youth this is a likely it is very likely they caused this. It's essentially the same premise of "Bob" from Fight Club with the man tits. If you're still on the meds, sorry, there's probably nothing that can be done. If you are off of it though, I'd like you to look up Elliot Hulse on YouTube and find his video series about the nervous system. I can't remember exactly what they're called... I'll see if I can find a link in the future.

My assessment of the problem is pretty in depth. You're going to have to change your entire life style to permanently resolve the issue.
1. You have hormone imbalances. You have to increase your cholesterol intake to boost your man hormones. (Eggs!)
2. You have to stabilize your insulin levels. Right now your body is absorbing too few nutrients when you ingest food and predominantly absorbing fructose.
3. You need to increase your overall muscular development. More muscle makes your body firmer, burns more calories, and directly correlates to more man hormones. You cannot begin gaining muscle and loosing fat if you do not to step 2.
4. You have neurological viruses invested in your body - most likely in your groin/genital region and your chest. This means that throughout your life your sexuality has been assaulted causing your nervous system to go into shock/protective mode of your man parts, thus resulting in a decrease of man hormones, and masculinity altogether. Your creativity and ability to show love has also been stifled which has caused your chest to also become neurotic, only further exacerbating the boob problem. You probably feel very tight/inflexible in your groin and have trouble connecting with other people on a deeper, more emotional level.

These are general problems everyone has to some extent, you were just dealt the shit hand your entire life. If you want more info I'm happy to help. I'll be subbed to this thread.

Wow, you sound extremely knowledgeable on the topic!

I absolutely think steroids had something to do with it.

Doctors are very negligent when prescribing drugs unless they're that 1 in a thousand who has some sense of moral authority. In fact doctors of all people are the most destructive to their own bodies... especially when they're young. I used to know of a good dozen or more doctors who used MDA and Cocaine and a weekly basis and would justify their use of it, which was the most disgusting part. Firsthand I've seen too many cases where patients were given "steroids" to "accelerate growth/healing" and it completely fucked their bodies.

But if you want to fix something you can't linger in the past. Last time I checked living a healthy lifestyle without determining what caused a bodily imbalance never hurt anyone.

Excellent post and very true, most doctors do not give all the facts when they are treating patients, especially younger ones. It is super important to ask questions from the doctor too, ask what the side effects are, be proactive in your treatment.

So first you point at the steroid being the culprit and then you list 4 different causes/remedies without any knowledge or diagnosis of this man?
You have absolutely no idea what is causing it outside him stating he had hormonal medication. So suggesting he should increase his cholesterol intake (also not at all knowing his current diet) is not sound advice at all. Also "neurological viruses in his body" assaulting his man parts, you have absolutely no basis for stating something like this. Same goes for point 2.

Your attack on doctors in general is absurd and I will not waste words on it.
Suffice it to say a doctor would actually diagnose a patient before pulling a complete diagnosis and treatment plan out of thin air like you just did.

Last time I checked living a healthy lifestyle without determining what caused a bodily imbalance never hurt anyone.

Haha, wow, just wow...
Except maybe the millions of people who do not visit doctors and keep walking around with for example cancer until its' in a servere enough state that treatment is not really going to do anything for them?
Healthy living is always good advice. Not diagnosing a problem is always just utterly dumb advice.

To OP: Go see a doctor and do not rely on the advice from people on internet forums (except maybe a medical related forum).
You will likely need a combination of both medication as well as surgery. Complementary to this you will need some lifestyle/dietary changes. The first being you will need to lose bodyfat and start exercising. High body fat increases estrogen and in itself will cause most people to develop gynecomastia.

Get some bloodwork done by a professional and let him prescribe the necessary procedures.

This is gynecomastia. Female like breasts.
It is common among steroid users and hormonal imbalances.
There is only one way to remove this and that is with surgery.
I have the same problem I used steroids and I have a case of gynecomastia and have tried everything to get rid of it.
Take it from me there is no other alternative.
Here is a link with some info for you

That is a very serious case of gyno. You need to have surgery to correct that, period. After surgery get your hormone levels checked to see if you need something there. And of course work out and clean up the diet.

Despite the anti-doctor comments above, and your previous unfortunate history, I would definitely go find a good endocrinologist before anything else. You don't have to take any meds or do anything they tell you to if you don't want to, but at least getting some hormone levels done and getting a read on why you have gynecomastia is WAY more primary than getting surgery straight off. Otherwise, you may end up right back where you are.

LOTS of medications can cause a hormone imbalance leading to gynecomastia (Tagamet, propecia, etc). Most of them are related to DHT conversion. Sorry you were put on systemic catabolic steroids (my assumption from what you said). Doctors hand them out like candy because they are INCREDIBLY effective at dampening the body's response to various offenders. This may be a case where the result didn't outweigh the benefit.

Go see an endocrinologist, get some blood drawn and then have them teach you what it means. Decide after that what YOU want to do about it.

p.s. please don't start eating tons of cholesterol in hopes that it will increase your sex hormone production. Cholesterol is converted by your body to steroids (so the theory is initially sound), but your liver can and does produce cholesterol on its own without your eating it at all. Eating more cholesterol will do nothing except put you in a higher risk category for vascular disease which will both increase your chance of death by stroke or heart attack AND reduce blood flow to your penis. Not worth it. EVERYTHING has side effects, make it your business to decide which side effects you could live with. If someone says someting doesn't have side effects, they are either misinformed or lying.

You still here Jeff? Has any of our feedback helped you?

I'm still here. I don't get any email responses on time.
I've recently started working out and my current weight is 251 pounds. My quest is to lose 70 to 80 pounds. My only problem I'm having is basically food. I eat a big breakfast, but during the day I don't eat nothing and at night I eat a big salad usually. I'm in college and usually have to work on a budget until I'm freed up. Any pointers on what I should eat to kill my (fat people) hunger?

Yea bro I feel you. Only thing I'ma do is get checked out again and keep losing weight. I've talked to a few people who were fat and had gyno and they say do constant (heavy) chest workouts. So when it's time to officially to see if I'll have to have surgery, I'll be ready.

As hard and expensive as it is, the fastest way to loose weight is to turn up your metabolism. Your metabolic rate is influenced heavily by eating many small meals a day. Eating 5-7 meals will ensure that the metabolism is running constantly allowing for the fastest drop in weight. If you are working with a little bit of money I would invest in staples you can buy in bulk that will be healthy, fast and effective.

Oranges bananas with nuts and crasians are the only thing I'll eat at the moment cause of conflicting night schedules.

I recommend the "lose it" app for your smartphone or ipod touch. You put in how much you want to lose/maintain, and it makes a calorie plan for you. Then, you can either input your food intake type or scan barcodes and it automatically adds it to your diet. You can also add exercise to it. Safely decrease calories in, and increase calories out...that leads to weight loss. I wasn't even trying to lose weight, but got addicted to keeping track in "lose it." It's a fantastic product and it is FREE. All the best to you.

Worry not! Just reduce your fat and it'll be alright! There are a couple of pieces of advice I can give you.
-1- Determine how much calories you need to maintain your current organism. There are a couple of formulas you could benefit from on the net.
-2- Reduce your calorie intake below your maintenance by 15-20%. As much as you want, but your case calls for some agressive reduction.
-3- Determine you nutrient ratios. A little fat- around 10%, A little carbohydrate- 40-45 and the rest protein- 45-50.
-4- Make sure you eat good food sources! Fat- Only unsaturated fat sources. Protein- Lean meats, protein sources that contain all of the essential amino acids. Carbohydrate- unrefined- watch to eat more green veggies!
-5- Train! Aerobic and anaerobic. Aerobic HIIT- search it. Aerobic- there are a lot of advices you can get at forum.bodybuilding. Do these things and you are sure to get these boobs off of yourself. And read on the topic. I would have to make this the longest post in the forum if I had to write everything you must do. Until my product launches, I think the best one you can use is BFFM- search it! Hope you see changes in your body- Penis Enlargement or bodybuilding!
