Lig soreness question

After an intense length routine, the rest of the night my ligs are really sore, and the next day they're really sore when I try to stretch again. Would it be more beneficial for length gains to take a day off when I feel that soreness from a really intense routine and let it heal, or to do a lighter routine the next day to keep things stretched so it heals moreso that way and take the next day off, or do another intense routine.. or what?

I know everyone's body heals differently, but I'm just looking for some insight from the veteran pe'ers. I'm pretty sure it won't be written in stone, but any advice would help. I know I could train through this and bear with the soreness, but I'm wondering which way would net the most gains. Thanks in advance.

You cant get enough lig soreness.
Keep hammering them ligs and feel the burn during and slightly afterwards, it can linger on for hours.
You'll know if you've overdone it, cos the pain will be intense as fuck.
If you were talking about the Tunicae, the aches and pains when you've worked that out, than I'd say yeah, take a rest cos that kinda stuff needs time but the ligs need hammering hard often cos they will retreat back normal, if left long enough.
Thats why you must keep consistant and intense on those ligs for many months ahead, than as the temp gains become cemented *permanent* you can lay-off the lig stuff more, but its CRUCIAL if you wonna make lig gains, that you really hit them hard, freq and consistant.

Alright cool. I get the soreness strongly at the base so I think its in my ligs. I also get the same soreness in the inner tissues of where I grip just under the glans but less, not sure what that is, perhaps the tightness of my grip. I still think I should give them a rest period of maybe a day a week or so for healing... unless anyone can prove ligs don't need to 'heal' per-se?
