My personal opinion is that lig pops represent the micro tears that have been produced through stretching. It is the rest period between intense workouts, that the micro tears try to heal up.When the next workout comes around, and you start stretching, you will get a few pops(like pulling the kinks out of a rope). To me these pops represent the micro tears reopening. If you have had lig pops in the past, and all of a sudden you are not getting them, then this would indicate that the micro tears that were producing the pops, have healed.I always try to get a few pops, if I don't then I up the intensity, and create some new micro tears in the ligs, or reopen the old ones, as they are still in a weakened state. The thing is that you can't allow the tears to totally heal up, as this creates a stronger more resistant lig, which means you will have to really put some intense stretching on it!Wearing an [words=http://www.phallosan.com/shop/catalog/default.php?z=eNortjIxtVKyL0pNszWxMFcrSSxKTy2JL0hMT7U1UisoykyxtbBQSy4tLsnPjS8uKcrMS7dVsgZcMMpbEbo%2C]ADS[/words], will help to insure that if the ligs try to heal, it will be in an outward stretched motion, which should mean some good gains!!!There are other theories on lig pops, this is my own personal opinion.
