Jelqing Angle

Is there a specific angle that I should be jelqing at?

I have seen it recommended to jelq straight up toward your chin, but I use a palm down OK-grip and my arms just cannot rotate to jelq like that. So I just go upward at an approximate 60 degree angle.

With the palm-down grip I can grab deeper at the base, much deeper than I can grab with a palm up, but is there something I am going to miss out on by not jelqing upwards?

I like to keep the angle in the direction I want my penis to be. In my case I have an upward curve and my erection angle is about 11:00 so I jelq in that direction. Some times I will train what are called Angle Jelqs, which are basically jelqing erect against the angle of your penis to help stretch the ligaments.
 
That sounds good, i like the angle i am jelqing at so i will stick with it.

Once my base girth surpasses everything else i may switch my grip and see how that goes. Thanks!

Yeah, but also understand the other part I posted where, at time, it is good to train against the angle of your erection in girth work. Not so much by curving in any such way but at an angle that is against the force of your erection. This is a good way top strength erection angle and increase the effectiveness of Kegels.
