At the brotherhood we use jelqs mainly as pre-fatigue with bundles, or give them to noobies. You can gain with jelqs but you'll need to do several hundred throughout the day as opposed to just one hundred+bundled stretches followed by a real program. What else have you tried besides jelqing Gooch?
It can be but you'll need manual stretches and more work outs. Depending on what you aim for, girth, length, or both. Jelqing is sufficient for now but you'll need to start including other exercises after a while.
