S2 is a decent phone. I used to have one till my contract ran out and I got the new note 2. You can switch on T2 predictive text in the menus to help with spelling and also the smart rotaion an hold the phone side on so you have a larger screen to see the type area. My S2 took a dive with battery life when I upgraded to ICS (ice cream sandwich) would only last bout 7 hours even not using it much at all. u could always buy a stylus if typing is hard too.
