Fast Quick Kegals vs Slow Long Kegels

What's the difference between the 2? Does it matter if you go fast quick kegels, or is it better to go slow long kegels?
Should you kegel to failure?

A good kegel should last 5 seconds to 8 seconds. You are building the PC muscle and by doing kegels in sets, you build strength. Do 3 sets of 3 and then 4 etc. Quick kegels can be done after you do your sets. Do 200 plus of those. YOU can do the quick ones when you have build the strength in the slow ones. GS

And what, you hold your curls for 5 seconds? I'm sorry to add extra confusion here, but I can't see why you shouldn't train the pc muscle like any other muscle. My advice would be to do them quickly if you it's somehow possible for you to add any weight to the exercise. If not, then hold it. Just doing them quick without any weight probably won't add enough stress to the muscle.
 
Ron...a noted urologist which I could PM you and give you his name, who specializes in this says that the long...even 8 seconds are a form of Isometric exercise that strengthens the PC muscle. THE quick ones, he says, are okay but the longer ones give power and strength. I have found that he is right and over the years...15, have found that when doing the longer ones, I have harder erections and can last longer and longer than I could when doing the short ones. Try it and see. Proof comes with seeing what works. GS
