I was jelqing while erect and some blood came out. Was I doing it too hard? Has that happened to anyone else? Also, I'm new at this, can anyone recommend some exercises or a [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/mosdvd.htm]dvd[/words] to watch for instructions. Please help

Wow that's nuts. You must have been doing it too hard, maybe popped a blood vessel or something. Just start off very light, and like hepcat says, take some time off.
I like to stay within my thereshold with jelqing, I go quite light. I like to be able to still have a nice erection by the end of the session

The blood did not come from the erection level you were using, it most likely is a stretching injury that may have ripped a small tear in your uretra or meatus. This has happened to me and it will usually clear up in a weeks time. My advice is to avoid sex and Penis Enlargement for at least 4 days to heal.

Yea I really don't do any stretching exercises to warm up or warm down. I just go str8 into jelqing. I guess my best bet will be to buy the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/mosdvd.htm]dvd[/words] because I really don't know the proper way to warm up or how to properly do any of the exercises.

When I was beginning (six months of jelqing) I had something similar occur. I was erect and grip squeezed the shaft during a kegel. Just a drop of blood out the tip. IMO it's just that the penis is not conditioned to these kind of stresses until you've done it regularly. Kinda like gums bleeding if you haven't flossed in a while LOL.

Nowadays I do all kinds of exercises without issue.
