Compilation of ideas to reduce comfort ring pain and mods I need some help?

No worries. I hope the post can be of use to others looking to solve discomfort.
I think I am going to try my silk wrapping idea it could work after all silk seems to not have so much friction ?:(.

I ended up trying vaseline again last night and ended up getting it all over the sleeve and tearing it.
Horrible suggestion imho.
