The creditability of that image is very questionable, especially considering how far the enjoyable range goes. Even these days, people tend to err on the side of 'modesty' vs speaking their true feelings. They do not want to take the chance, usually that their lover is made to feel inadequate. Surveys, Polls and every other data collection that does not include a MASSIVE sample size is worth crap. On top of that, if their is motive in the results the samples will be prejudice. Think about this past election and how wrong every data collection service was. Every poll, every survey, every sample said one thing when the reality was far different. So I would say a survey is as good as the honesty of the surveyors and the size of the audience sampled. Oh, also the methods used, this should also be examined as there can be bias here too.
What is very important to know and I guess what I am trying to sludge through is you can find whatever result you want if you look long enough.
Unfortunately this is the problem with studies like this. They are very susceptible to human influence regardless if it is intentional or not. The integrity of the researchers and the subjects will be under question, especially by the consumers of their data. I don't think it will be any study soon able to overcome the biggest weaknesses with studies like this. Until someone comes up with a way to truly overcome this, studies like the one mentioned in the video will have to suffice in giving a ballpark estimate. The power of that study is low but for what they were capable of doing it seems to be executed decently. Nothing is without criticism and improvements can always be made, it just takes a body with enough resources to do that.
