Base Girth Development By Way Of Downward Stretching With The Kegel/reverse kegel

DLD, some time ago, I wrote the following question to you, below which you will find your response.

Question: If I wanted to focus solely upon development of base girth, what kind of routine would you recommend? That is, what kind of sets, duration, and so forth would you advise with the downward stretching?

"I would substitute the PHASE 1 stretching in all directions with all downward stretching. ie down to the left, down to the right, straight down and do 3 sets each for 30-seconds each rep."

I would like to employ the kegel/reverse kegel flexing with the straight-down stretch. However, given that these are 30 second stretches and the DLD blasters are only to last 10 seconds each, I'm not sure how to implement the method.

First, why, on the blasters, do you only advocate a 5 second kegel followed by a 5 second reverse kegel? In other words why not make it last longer?

Honestly, I've always felt the straight downward stretch to be superior to all the others I have experienced, including the blaster. I just feel it in the ligaments.

I was thinking, perhaps, in executing the straight-down stretch, I could simply hold a kegel for 5 seconds and follow that up with a 15 second reverse kegel. I would do this roughly 60 times to amount to 30 minutes of stretching work. What do you think?

And if you would remember, I want to build a good deal of base girth along with length; that's why I'm opting or this method (as it was you who recommended the straight-down stretch to accomplish this end).

All the words that follow are inquiries seeking an expounding upon that answer. These make up the majority of my post. I only wrote your old answer to refresh your mind as to the subject matter.
