We need to put this kid in office, right now!

The biggest problem with genetically engineered food is not the genetically engineering (health standpoint) itself, but the health effects that result from the additional chemicals that can be used on the crops due to the modifications. For example, a popular modification is to make the crops resistant to the roundup chemical that kills weeds. As a result, a shiload of this chemical (not to mention numerous other pesticides) is dumped on the crops to kill weeds, where before, it wouldn't have been dumped at all because of its danger to the food crop.

Another thing about modified crops is the way they take advantage of ridiculous patent law, which allows companies to patent these modifications and sue farmers that didn't buy their seeds from them, but have been found to have modified crops in their farm due to cross pollination.

Actually, lots of health problems directly attributable the ingestion of GMO crops are starting to be discovered more and more.
Go to WWW.MERCOLA.COM if you'd like to find out more.

The documentary " The World According to Monsanto and Food INC. are good film exposing the evil that is corporate food. I think that once Codex Alamentarius is exposed for the fraud that it is we can begin to fight this. I wish my eyes would have been open this early in my life to the corruption of this Kabal. I now only wait to throw myself against the gears of this machine...

The kid in this video gives me hope that we will have future generation who believe in Liberty and do not fall for the Social Engineers agenda of population reduction. Henry Kissinger said in Department Memorandum 200 that food would certainly be used as a weapon. The U.N. agenda 21 calls for global population reduction.

A lot of GMOs exist in third-world countries that otherwise don't have enough food to feed everybody; they're created to make crops in large amounts so people don't starve to death. Organic farming is certainly healthier, but it's a minute point when you're talking about life and death. Local farming in America? Certainly. Local farming everywhere? Not unless you can sustain it in large amounts.
That being said I think a lot of people listened to this kid because he was 11. If it were a 50-year old he'd have just as many argumentative responses.

GMO's are pretty much the equivalent of fossil fuels; as destructive as they are seductive. A stop-gap measure at best, far too often and far too easily abused with short term gains exploited and long term hazards ignored.

This article shows what I'm talking about. It mentions a study about organ failure on gm food and the extra chemical residue that is found in them, specifically the crops like corn and soy beans, which were engineered to be resistant to these chemicals.

I still hold my opinion that the proven danger of GMO foods is the large amount of extra chemicals that they allow the farmer to use without killing the GMO plants. It is also my opinion that the organ problems has something to do with the increased amount of these chemicals present in GMO food. As for the food itself being harmful, that can only be proven if they grew a bunch of GMO food with the same growing methods (same amount of pesticides and other chemicals) as regular crops, and compare the health of lab animals restricted to each diet. Until then, it is an unknown. Either way. 1. its a moot point because all GMO crops use an increased amount of harmful chemicals, and 2. I would much rather choose foods that are known to be safe, than ones that have the possibility to harm me.

Actually what you link to declares, pretty much without qualification, that GMO's are, in and of themselves, toxic and hazardous to mammalian health and cites its reference sources for this conclusion.
I'm not quite sure what your point is.
Are you espousing the position that GMO's are harmless absent the attendant chemical excesses they require to survive?

This is exactly the kind of person that we need to BE in office. All these politicians there right now have been there for decades and they have biased agendas. Now so many people are so lazy they just keep voting them back into office but our country is getting more and more fucked up. This kid could go really far with the right guidance I hope he keeps at it he can make a difference.
