Simply start wrap at base of penis and as you wrap upward hold penis out as much as possible

Wrap from base. It matters. It helps the glans not to turtle easily.

Thank you. I do struggle with turtling especially after a combination pump and manual stretch routine.

Yes it should. Another reason for turtling is if your fat pad is too big.
