I have no dougt that if the UK was in trouble, the USA would help us......the US would ALWAYS be their for the UK, ALWAYS.....was in WW2, not for the reasons some say i.e the atlantic shipping routes, they didnt have to send so many troops into europe, and indeed the UK and be based here and fight with us.....the US is our best allly, at times I bite my tongue at some of the mad dog things they do, I dont agree alot with the US Gouvernment, but they and the US Military [the guys and gals in their] are different people, and think different....were a team us and the US, and we will beat these scumbags in the arab lands.

Thats right, even though alot of the people here in the UK didnt belive in the war in Iraq, or want it to happen they HAVE ALWAYS backed the military, supported them.
I myself dont agree with the war in Iraq, the way we went about and started it ect but this doesnt affect the way I feel towards Americans....I dont hate them at all.
I think alot of this anti-USA shit in the UK IMHO has been comming from the ethnic portions, you know the ones who fuckin hate the UK but wonna live here anyways...yeah sad but its common in the UK, they leech of us and hate us and the US....that hook handed wanker who we have charged recently used to give lectures in the fuckin street here in London, about hatred towards the UK and USA, also BURNT FUCKIN BRITISH FLAGS IN THE UK STREETS, We cant do anything cos of all this PC shit, and the human rights and right to free speech bollocks.

Yeah, I suspected anti-American sentiment was coming from small factions within your society. We have the same ungrateful pricks here and it sounds like they're basically the usual suspects on both our ends. That is not to say that everyone that opposes the war is a mindless prick, as there are a number of reasons one can be opposed to the war. But many of these individuals make these decisions on nothing more than politics.

I myself supported the war. The UN resolutions said unconditional access or the most severe consequences. "International Law" can kiss my ass, because there isn't much arguing the legal justification. Now as to whether it was done in the right way or not is very debatable. But I will say the radical left has one part of the equation right: It's all about oil. However, the rest of the equation was wrong, because it's not all about oil in terms of US interests. If all we wanted was oil, we could have easily eased sanctions and had more oil overnight. At this point, evidence suggests France, Russia, and even possibly Germany were taking illegal bribes from the Oil For Food program. I saw one report that said France was getting illegal oil exports for as little as $4 per barrel. As much as I'd like the US to send a half-dozen of it's poorest troops to conquer the surrendering French, I'd opt for a more serious declaration that France has no place in NATO any longer. They are not an ally.

Given all of this, there was no chance there could have ever been the colilition so many were calling for. Keeping the peace has proven to be more of a bitch than I thought it would end up being, but I still believe in the war effort. While Russia's corrupt business interests kept them from issuing support, Putin's revelation that Saddam was planning to hit the US with an attack on our soil killed any shadow of doubt I had.

That's the way I see it. Either way, I'll never question the British loyalty to us.

lol O yea, The Brits and the French HATE eachother......also the French were the LAST country to DEFEAT the British, and indeed Invade them....that was in 1066 with the battle of hastings when King Harold had an arrow shot through his eye, the French king was William the Conquerer.....a quick history lesson lol the French and Brits go ALONG way back man, a LONG WAY....our Lord Nelson and their Napolean...and the Battles in Canada with them, yea we have locked horns enough.....TIP: Watch the Football [Soccer to you guys] International when their is one, between England and France, it'll be PACKED with action....always is, its a modern-day war.

Yeah, I generally think of the British as more laid-back and relaxed than us Americans, but you guys are insane with that soccer (football) thing. As a sidenote, I still haven't figured out why American football hasn't caught on in Europe by this point, as it's a kickass game.

I dont watch UKUSfootball as its never on TV...But I have seen the european matches like Barcelona, London, Scottish, Frankfurt ect ect but they seem to have alot of US players in them from nearby US bases.
