Size Doctor

Supra, you mentioned the metal part came out of the grey pump bulb. It looks like you put it in backwards because the air is blowing in the wrong direction instead of vacuuming. Not sure why you are having all these issues but you can send it back and we will exchange it or refund you. We carefully test these one by one before they ship out and many have shipped already and there are people in the forums using them.

Im willing to stick it out to try to get this to work, ill let you know if I need to exchange it, I appreciate the customer support though. Can you tell me which ways the valves are supposed to be on the adapter and bulb, can you take pics for me.

Thats the Spirit! I know you make it work, your Supra!

OK guys, so I just got my Size Doctor. Tried it out today to see how it works - looks like it's going to be a sturdy bit of kit.

The valve though doesn't close for me either - so I put the black adaptor first, then grey bulb, then pump and my glans comes in - all fine till that point. Then you have to remove the grey bulb and black adaptor - when you do all the air goes out via the small black pin (the one with the orange o-ring on it) because it's in the outward position and the action of pulling the black adaptor away from the head pulls on this pin. So only way is to not take off the black adaptor but then vacuum gets lower over a few minutes. Any ideas?

I did just check the vid earlier in this thread, and it seems from seeing it that the black pin should be able to be in the loose position even after removing the pump without air escaping, and then you use the clip to keep it in place so that it doesn't go in too far, and then to release the air you push the black pin in? If so then that's the opposite of what I have where, in order to keep air in the chamber the pin has to be pushed in, and pull it outwards and it releases air....

Cheers

I am still waiting for mine too and I did hear that there’s a learning curve and to be patient with myself. This is brand new to all of us so I’m sure we’re going to get better and better at using it by helping one another through our post here.

Water can you take pics of your grey bulb and adapter so I can see the way the valves are supposed to go?

There's only one way it can go really - black adaptor goes first onto grey bulb (side of grey bulb where there are internal ridges in the connection) then other side of the black adaptor goes onto the size doctor for pumping. In mine, it won't pump unless you first release the black pin a bit from the head (black pin with orange o-ring) so that it wobbles about a bit. You can then pump air....

Thanks for your advice my brother it is much appreciated

Just reading on other forum about the older Size Doctors - seems it's been the same issue before with air releasing once you remove the bulb and adaptor. From what I can see, people have said that they got it to work by waiting a few seconds, tilting the Size Doctor up and wiggling it around to get the pin to drop back first. Then release the bulb..... So seems there's a knack to it and it's not as simple as the vid suggests. Will experiment again tomorrow.

Well let’s get everything out there that we can think of and see if we can make improvements and modifications to make things better and if that’s the case we can send out modifications to everyone. But let’s keep brainstorming to see what we can find to help one another or to make modifications.

With the safety wire clip moved to side, keep the black plastic post with o-ring pushed in while you pump. Make sure the white rubber piece inside the SizeDoctor clear orange plastic bulb is pressed in (sometimes they get loose).

Attach the vacuum bulb and adapter and pump. The suction will be slow but it was intended that way. The pump bulb will squeeze fast but expand slow. Once you are secured, remove pump and put wire safety over o-ring to secure.

The black adapter creates a better seal with grey pump bulb.

Thanks Lightning. That's what I was starting to do but then even the suction force from the bulb pops the pin out again. I'll experiment later today again.

Make sure the white rubber piece inside the SizeDoctor orange bulb is pushed in as well.
