ROP Terror...

I remember reading about someone on the forum using plastic tubing like you'd find in a fish tank to construct their ROP...I'm just curious if anyone else has done this same thing, and as to whether or not it causes more irritation to the skin than latex would.

That's the first type of tubing I tried, but it wasn't NEARLY flexible enough to get over the rods.

Have you considered that you may have an allergic reaction to either latex, copper or zinc? Also, do you know what Hydradentitis is? You can do a search on the Internet and read about it. It's a condition whereby the sweat glands can get infected and it's possible to get this on your sack!!!!! If you have this, and it's not all that rare, perhaps your ROP is encouraging it?

By the way, where did you buy your copper and zinc in Sweden? Zinc seems to be really hard to find here in Skåne!

Well, I've thought about possible allergic reactions but the itching continues even if I remove the ROP for a few days. Also tried silicone tubing but that didn't help either, besides that tubing was far too fragile for me to use.

Swedeguy...All of us, and I mean all of us, have a bacterial balance on our skin. If you wash too much you can mess this up - I know it sounds crazy "wash too much" but it's true. This bacterial balance would be most sensitive in those area that are, for want of a better term, "wet and warm"...I mean, it must be something that's causeing it and I can understand that it might be a little strange asking your doctor about it? Anyway...sorry to seem uncaring...but where did you get the zinc from? I can't find zinc anywhere in Skåne!

Sidvic, I think Swedeguy bought the ROP from Supra.. I can't find zinc and copper rods either here in Ångermanland. :D

If you include all your lost time (you used for searching the components) in the price of your home-made ROP, you better buy one of Supra. Time is money you know!!
