Hello Everyone,

A while back we placed an order for a new batch of Power Assists with our original manufacturer. After waiting 2 weeks the manufacturer informed us that they were having a hard time getting the Ash/Wood for the Power Assists. The manufacturer tried another Supplier that we waited to hear back from as well with no results.

So once I saw this was taking a long time I went online and searched for another manufacturer to make these Power Assists with no luck. It takes a special CNC laser machine to make these in large quantities.

After further searching, we found a guy who said he could make these by hand in 3 days. I questioned the quality of his work so he made me a sample and sent it to me to inspect. When I got the Sample, the quality looked real good, so I gave him the go ahead to make them. He asked to be paid up front for materials and I wired him the money. Well 5 days went by and I didn't hear anything back from him. So then I called him and his wife picks up and says he left to New Orleans to help work for the Disaster Relief and he shipped the Power Assists out to me before he left. So I asked for a tracking # and she said she doesn't have it and can't get in contact with her husband. So I gave it the benefit of the doubt and figured I would give it a few more days to get to us. Well after a few more days I call her back and the number is disconnected :(

Now we are out money and still no Power Assists. So I went back to the original manufacturer to see if any luck has changed on getting lumber. So he put a call in and said that they could probably use another material that is just as strong. In the process of him checking this out he gets a huge job in that has to get done and tells me he has to put me on the back burner until he finishes it. I asked how long it is going to take to finish that job and he says about 6 weeks. So I ask him if he can recommend another company to do some Power Assists to get by for now and he refers me to a woodwork forum that I checked out.

So I PMed a guy on there out in Oregon who has a CNC machine to do these and asked him if he can make us some. So he asked for the plans and digital template and I get him everything and he agree's to do it. I informed him on the material and Color to make these and he said no problem. So being pressed for time, I just told him to go ahead and get started and he invoiced me and asked for a 50% deposit. So I got him his deposit and he started the job. So 9 days later he has them ready to ship to us and I pay him the balance and he ships the order to us.

So he is out in Oregon and ships us UPS ground and it takes another week to arrive to us. So I get them, open the box and first thing I noticed is the staining looks like crap and a couple of them had a broken chunk off the handles. So I checked them out further and notice the wood looks different. So I tested one to see how strong it was and I was able to snap it in half by hand. I grab another and snap that one too. So Now I am really Pissed the fuck off and call this guy and he agree's to run them again but I asked for my money back.

So now I went back to the original manufacturer and I am waiting for him to get the lumber in we need. He was able to locate the same Ash from another supplier at a higher cost and I told him to go with it. So I am now waiting on them.

So as you can see, this run of Power Assists was something else.

We deeply apologize to the people that are still patiently waiting on them.

If you are on the waiting list and do not wish to wait any longer, please send me a PM and I will promptly refund your payment.

Thank You

That sucks man glad its sorted out now.

I had something happen to me that was very similar to this recently. It sounds quite frustrating but I think you dealt with it well.

Thanks for the update JAZ, I have been losing sleep and feeling so badly about the PA's plus this problem has also effected the production of the POWER ASSIST future projects. I feel once this dilemma is squared away we will have a very promising future, equipment wise. Please keep us updated, thanks again.

Mike

This perfectly illustrates two of my many philosophies of life:
1, Nothing happens quickly, unless it's a disaster, and,
2. Nothing's ever as simple as it should be.
Despite the problems; I still think all you guys are doing a fantastic job here at MOS and I greatly appreciate all that I've learned.
And so does my girlfriend!

Thanks for the encouragement, at this point at MOS we need as much of this kind of support as possible. We have survived many other adversities and I know we will get through this too. Who knew the Power Assist would become such a big item but it has and we know have another obstacle to overcome. It's crazy, but I felt guilty just having my PowerAssists in my possession, if they were not used I would have sent these out.

News on the PA2 may have some new life too as I have found a replacement carpenter/plumber for the ALPHA+BLADE studios and he is now looking at my designs and I feel confident this gentleman will come through.

It seems this year, for me, has been one of the most difficult yet. I keep hearing my Mother say, "what does not kill you will make you stronger" but when I am within the confines of adversity it becomes difficult to feel strong. My biggest motivation is that things are changing, things are slowly getting back in control and I know MOS has a very bright future.

Thanks for the reply!
Some of the sweetest rewards come from the hardest fought battles. I know damn well that, quite often life gets frustrating to the point of failure, but I try to take a long range viewpoint when that happens. One of the questions I ask myself is, "In twenty years just how much will this________ affect my life path?" Sometimes I don't have any answer whatsoever, but it helps me refocus on the finish line instead of the hurdles.

DLD i think i speak for everyone when i say you have our full support and respect. I know running all this can't be easy and occasionally there are bound to be mistakes.

I for one think you deserve ALOT more recognition for your work. sadly Penis Enlargement is still pretty much unheard of and most people i talk to think it's impossible.

since i watched 'the perfect penis' i have been talking about it with all my closest mates and most of them think its impossible but after a couple minutes explaining how it works, i get a curious 'aahhhh' in reply. :p

all the best man.

That is the kind of support and motivation that powers MOS. DLD, JAZ, LIGHTNING and the other MODS are top notch guys!! MOS has been the best forum since I joined it in 2003. This place only grows bigger and better(no pun intended) with time and every obstacle you guys conquer. You are truly the reason why this forum florishes and push forward the idea that a man can make his body the way he wants. I salute all the MODS and of course the innovator and founder himself DLD with for all your efforts and constant hard diligent work. Being that I'm a MOS OG, I was fortunate enough to get one of the very first PA's when they came out. When the PA2 comes out, I just might get that one too, after seeing a pic of it and it's attachments. I want to see what the PA2's attachments offer for Penis Enlargement. That was an unforunate occurance with this batch of Power Assists, but when the people who ordered, get it in their hands, they'll know it was worth the wait.

Power Assist 2's..... Holy crap did i miss the memo that went out, didn't even know there was gonna be such a thing, I remember hearing about how a gentleman was willing to fund a project for the making of a prototype power assist for the girthier members, but nothing on the power assist with attatcHydromaxents, just hearing about that makes me wonder if the power assist with be the biggest thing to hit men since the swiss army knife.

It was actually for uncut men to be able to pull the foreskin back and stretch with the power assist, I think that the original could take on any amount of girth but not a whole hand as well:)

But yeah the Power assist 2 sounds cool.

Thanks for the Huge Props! But sorry, this is for the original Power Assists that were on back order for a while. We got plenty in now so they should last for a while.

The power assist 2 is coming soon. I know DLD had a prototype made and it does everything besides make your coffee in the morning :D

so then have there been problems with the standard power assist for the "uncut"? cause i mean i might have to pick up the Power Assist 2.1 then as well if it isn't "decircumcised friendly". other then that how hard is it to pull the skin back with the regular PA.

Well i could not pull my foreskin back with the regular power assist u just cant do it and get a good grip i dont think anybody else has even given it a thought so it was just me that thought it would be better i would not say there was a problem just room for improvement:D well i hope it is an improvement.

and im the gentleman that funded this project:)

nice well i wonder how the original works or me and if not oh well just gives me another reason to throw another 50 ontop of the order for 2.0 to contribute to the future of MoS/AB
