Need Help with Lot theory

Can any one help me understand the Lot theory an break it down to me simple because i just read the full thing an im really lost. im not sure if i should stretch my tunica or strewch down to hit my ligs. I really wanna focus on getting length so i think if i understand the Lot theory it will help me thanks
