I have read where people can comfortably wear Magnums anywhere from 5 to 5.75 inches of girth, mostly depending on the shape of the penis. If your penis tapers toward the base (baseball bat) then, even if you have a 6+ upper-shaft girth, and less than 5.75 base girth, then Magnums should, from what I have seen, be fine. However, if you taper toward the head (cone shape) and you are 5.5 inches of girth midshaft and 6.25 inches of girth at the near-base, then Magnum XLs might be more comfortable for you. Me personally, I wear Magnum XLs and they fit about 3/4 down my dick, after that you just can't roll it anymore, thanks to my girth getting really fat the further to the base you go. I have always wondered why they don't invent condoms that are for cock and balls, because cone-shaped dicks aren't meant for condoms, they always roll back some, depending on how large you are and how big the condom is. Even Magnum XLs feel snug on my base.

However, any condom generally suites me as I have a long term monogamous partner. I have used regular condoms, but they only go about half way down at most, and even then it's like a mini-clamping session. All I really need, now that my GF is off birth control (she needs to find one that works well with her body), is a condom that protects the head, something that just stops sperm from getting out. However, I still use Magnum XLs for full-length comfort, plus they're lubricated, plus it's nice to have anal sex with a condom on so you don't get shit on your dick.

lol @ blood and shit on the sword post above ^

Back to topic. I believe magnums have an unstretched girth of 4.7 inches, so I guess anyone 5+ inches in girth can use them. Not sure about the XL's.
