Calling upon your expertise on jelq's!

I noticed higher pressure when jelq'ing palms down position. Also the grip is mutch better (a lot closer to body) this way.
How do you do your jelq's palms up or down?

Mostly palms down, but I vary my grip sometimes depending on what I'm aiming for. Another thing to think about; some guys, myself at the beginning too, would create a...."choke point" when jelqing that would produce a single, fluid-filled bubble. A much smaller version of "the donut effect". Almost like a blood-blister but just plain fluid inside.

If you think of the point where your thumb and forefinger come together as an hour hand on a clock, then changing what time it points to can help avoid the creation of the fluid ponds.

No blistering on me thankfully.
Beside the ,,blister'' effect does the hand position affect anything at all?

Well, we're all a little different; experiment a little bit and find what works best for you. A subject like this is mostly about personal preference, what's most comfortable for you and what brings you the most effecient gains. For someone to tell you that you MUST do this or you MUST avoid that when performing an exercise is them mistaking preference for imperative.
